We stayed here for two nights while touring the Laurel Highlands area. While Marriott has been pretty aggressive in updating the Fairfield image, this location seems to have fallen behind the current standard. Our room was nice if somewhat dated; the bathroom in our room, on the other hand, had a line of cracked floor tile running the length of the bathroom, and the sink was also seriously cracked(but not to the point where it was leaking as far as I could tell). Like other older hotels, the work desk in the room didn’t have any nearby outlets for plugging in chargers, power supplies, etc. in order to get work done. The staff did a lot to make sure we were comfortable, but the rooms are just aging, and not in a good way. I hope Marriott gets around to renovating this property soon.

Overpriced for what it is. This building is definitely older and needs updated. My room had a stale smoke stench to it. The rooms do come with a refrigerator and microwave which is convenient. The front desk receptionist was very friendly and they have an average standard free breakfast. I have stayed at the Hampton inn in Uniontown before and it was $ 10 cheaper and much nicer.

I recently was in town and with a choice of many different places to stay in Uniontown, I went with Fairfield because of my Marriott club membership. So yes, I did have a reason to head here and I’m predispositioned to Marriott, but there’s a reason that I keep coming back, and they definitely exemplified that. From cleanly kept rooms, well maintained grounds, and great communication with all members of staff, this location lives up to the name and the reputation. They have a great warm breakfast, and the whole staff is super friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend them enough, and I’d be back again anytime I’m in the area.

This Marriott property is tired — very, very tired. In addition to sticky worn carpet throughout, my room had cracked floor tiles, missing grout, peeling wall paper, and a soured foul odor. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Nice location, dated, carpet in room a little musty, but otherwise nice for Fairfield. Great staff, very attentive. Star up,

I stayed here for several nights. The room was spotlessly clean every day, A+ maid service. The complimentary breakfast was awesome too. Coffee is available all the time in the breakfast room. Free wifi. There was some big, high school age, student group staying there overlapping with my stay. From your bed, you can hear everything that’s going on in the hallways. And then I got a call in the middle of the night one night telling me there had been a noise complaint about my room. I had been asleep… and alone. The person apologized for waking me but, geeze, you’d think they would have walked upstairs to hear the source of the noise before randomly dialing rooms. I may stay here again because it really was just a noise issue. It’s probably quieter without gangs of students.

No gym… indoor pool and hot tub though. 5 of us stayed here on business and all 5 had different rates. I complained and they matched my rate to the lowest one anyone had. $ 21 variance on a corporate rate is absurd. The staff is outstanding and cleanliness was very good. Not sure where they buy the bananas for the breakfast but the new ones looked like the older ones every day… need a new banana buyer.

This hotel is not upto Marriott standard. The rooms are big but are definitely dated. The shower was spraying water to the sides. The maid service was good. But the building is old and it shows. Unfortunately not many choices in uniontown for hotels.

For a Fairfield Inn this hotel definitely could have been better. The service was OK but not super helpful. The primary problem with this property was its age. The hotel looked pretty old and even though we stayed in a non-smoking«suite» the room was quite small and the furniture and carpet was smoked in. The hotel was quite close to the Uniontown mall which had a few food options. The breakfast at the hotel was kinda good but I expected better… I stayed at this hotel a few months ago…
