Summer rolls were huge! Brisket phở was delicious. Thai tea sweet and yummy. Friendly staff.

Great staff. I couldn’t get any spring rolls or summer rolls because only one person knows how to make them so I settled for VN spring roll and it was pretty good. The steak phở comes out in a small bowl but the broth is really tasty. The steak meat is good but isn’t fantastic or anything. I give a good rating on staff always making sure I had everything which normally lacks at these type of restaurants and the broth. Wish I could have tried the other types of rolls.

Growing up on the west coast with a high population of asian and Vietnamese restaurants, I have tried all the best and always expect to have yummy broth that is not over or under salted. Pho4star never fails to disappoint. They have all the regular meat, vegetable, and seafood phở options on their menu as well as vermicelli and rice.
Servers are always attentive and friendly, and happy to answer questions for those new phở like some of my friends I have introduced.
Pricing is easily affordable under $ 10 for a meal and typically $ 7-​$ 9.
Restaurant is clean and well organized as well!
Even though this is a twenty minute drive from my house, it is definitely my go to phở place in San Antonio :)

My husband tried Phở for the first time while he was away on business. He was so excited to have our family try it together, so we happened across this small restaurant. My kids and I have never tried Phở before, or Boba tea. I got the Ga, my daughter got the meatball phở, and my husband got the beef phở. Its very different from anything I’ve ever had before, but it was good. I liked that you can spice it to your own liking. We did NOT like the meatballs at all though, so I would stay away from that one. We loved the boba tea, flavors were great, and the boba, while different, was still fun and yummy to try. My kids weren’t a fan of the boba, and in the future we will be ordering it without the boba. My youngest daughter got the beef fried rice, it was delicious, and I feel like we should definitely try more items at this place, especially since my husband loves the phở so much. We would definitely recommend, and we will definitely be back!

So, after the awful service received at another local phở restaurant, I was taken to Phở 4 in Universal City.
In 4 words: Excellent service, Superb food!
