Whole Foods Market

Good quality stuff and a wide variety. The staff are excellent and you can go in there and grab a slice and a beer while the wife figures out what we are getting! I will certainly go back, but I will always go to Tacoma Boys first.

Was so excited that a whole foods open down this way, but when I went I was so disappointed… they have a very slim to non existing vegan option… I know they have fruits and veggies, but I am refering to the deli, bakery, hot food bar, or even the pizzas. Guess I’ll just have to keep going to seattle :(or PCC

5 star rating for this store is NOT a mistake! This store and its Gig Harbor counterpart have been here for decades, long before the chain, Whole Foods Markets. Consequently, because they were here first, they hold the trade name/​copyright where they are located.
I have been a customer for about 15 years, and have brought many friends, family and acquaintances there for improved health. Yes, its small and old, but the expertise of the employees whose combined experience exceeds 45 years, is invaluable. I have double checked them with MDs, naturopaths, nutritional therapists and chiropractors, and their suggestions and recommendations have been 100% spot on! If they haven’t known the answer, they have assisted me in locating possible answers. They take the time to provide individual customer service, and truly care about each of their customers.
I’m so grateful to have these persons, and their little store in my life. The chain store is very nice, but serves a different purpose. We’re lucky in Tacoma and Gig Harbor to have had these specialty health stores for the last several decades. They have made a huge difference in the quality of my life, and those I love and care about.

False advertising! This place is not Whole Foods. Its a small dingy store with old and expired looking product. These people are taking advantage of the Whole Foods chain name and they know it. If they didn’t have the same name I doubt they’d get any traffic.

This is NOT a Whole Foods Market. This is a SMALL health food store that is exploiting the Whole Foods Market name and reputation.
