Chipotle Mexican Grill

I hate to give bad reviews but this location needs some better management. The female who I believe is a manager, is rude and inconsistent with her portions from customer to customer. I work in the area so I frequent this location regularly. However, as a fan of chipotle, I will be taking my business to another location despite the convenience. You would think in recent light of Chipotles bad publicity they would be doing a better job at listening to their loyal customers.
My first bad experience was with the same worker. I came in during non-​busy hours, 330pm. There was a minimal line, yet the worker seemed so rushed. As I was ordering she was already beginning to scoop items that I hadn’t even ordered yet. She almost put sour cream on it, when I didn’t even ask for that. I had to stop her and slow her down. She shoved my bowl down the line clearly annoyed and didn’t look up once.
The second time, the same woman (Hispanic, middle aged) scooped my chicken pretty small. I knew she was going to do so, so I ordered a double portion because she is extremely light handed. But the double portion looked like a single… or even smaller actually. I inquired to why it seemed so small, barely 3oz of meat. I think paying $ 10 for a bowl with additional protein justifies I can at least ask why she decided to give me such a small portion. She gave me attitude. On top of that, the 3 girls before me ordered regular chicken bowls and their portions looked exactly the same as mine. This happened to me 2 times at this same location with the same woman.
Reading down at these other reviews it seems like more of the same.

I’m giving one star because the food was good. The customer service is something else. Usually the staff is very friendly but tonight we had a young lady ring us up and charge us wrong. When I questioned the amount she began to argue with me. I asked to speak to a manager and she told me there wasn’t one on duty which is hard to believe so I asked for her name and she hesitated and said «Victoria». I won’t be returning to this location just because id rather give my business to another location that won’t argue with customers.

Pissed about they put like little to no sour cream… be sure to watch them when you order a side of sour cream lol. Check out the pic

I like this restaurant, I have to admit of late the food has become more consistent and better , when they first opened up things weren’t tasting the same on different visits, no they are much better. Staff is friendly, and good food.

Sad, after all the drama and loss of business this is crazy. It’s 10:29 AM doors are unlocked staff (4) sitting at a table eating gauc chips etc and me and 6 other people waiting we are told «sorry 2 more minutes «crazy!!! I guess I’ll get food from somewhere else.

I’ve gone to this Chipotle several times and the staff are always polite and friendly. Tonight we went in and sadly like many Chipotles around the US this one barely had customers, but the staff were still upbeat, friendly and provided service with a smile.

Eh, its not that great the food is bland, and they are horrible at placing and wrapping burrito’s. Don’t put so much in it then you can wrap it properly sheesh. Also, I got a bone in my burrito, a F&$!#^@* BONE! Not only have you guys gone down since the ecoli scandal all across the U.S., but now your leaving bones in the food Hahahaha! Get real. Not only will I no longer buy food at Chipotle, but I won’t recommend you guys either. The only reason you get 2 stars is because the employees are very friendly.

This is a typical fast food place with limited selections and bland tastes that offer sauces to mask the flavor. It isn’t inexpensive, think about twelve dollars for a complete meal and small drink. They charge extra for several items such as guacamole ($ 1.75 for a scoop) so do your homework. The service is fine, the place is clean, but the clean-​up crew is lax when it comes to clearing the tables. I have been there three times and one thing I have noticed is that the male servers give you larger meat proportions. Sounds sexist so check it yourself. There are non-​chain Mexican places that are far more generous and economical and have more tasty fare.

Usually I don’t like going to chipotle because they want to charge you extra for everything when they don’t portion right. But yesterday I visited this one in the colonies and it was great. She didn’t over portion or under portion my burrito which was great, maybe some locations need training on portioning but here the young lady nailed it!

Seriously three fucken dollars to melt cheese on a burrito how sad I go to Chipotle all the time and I have never been charged any extra for them to melt cheese on a damn burrito how sad can that be don’t have plans on ever returning to this one again

Last time I came here, the lady accidentally broke through the foil and wrote on my burrito. But flavor wise it was still good.

So first off I am a big fan of chipotle, but with that being said I would advise anyone to make a little drive and go to a different location than this one. I got a burrito from here and a bowl for my wife and we were both disappointed with what we got. Plenty of rice and beans and fillers but when it came to sour cream in our food to give it that moist creamy goodness it was almost non existent in every bite we took which left us with dry food that was just missing it. I get that they’re running a business and trying cut a profit, but c’mon guys don’t skimp people on what they came for. Next time we will be sure to make the extra little drive to get what we want from our chipotle craving. No wonder there was not one person in the line when I came in at 6pm on a weekend, I should have figured there was a reason that the big line I’m used to at chipotle wasn’t at this one.

I go to this Chipotle weekly. I wouldn’t go here as much but my kids love it and ask for it. It’s good food.
The staff is friendly and always says hi as we walk through the door. The service is fast, no matter how long the line in. The restaurant is clean. The bathrooms are clean too.
I do love that they have brown rice too!!!

Steak bowl is the best. Try it with vinaigrette, adds lots of flavor. Great stop for a quick bite to eat.

I love chipotle. It’s pretty much my favorite restaurant. But I went here to the newer one on 19^th Tuesday night and I have had the worst time in the restroom since! I really did think the Barbacoa tasted really strange and I’m pretty sure that’s what it was. I hadn’t eaten since an early breakfast that day because I was rushed with school and just didn’t have time. Felt fine all day until an hour or two after this meal. I’ve had one meal since and it’s Saturday! I’m on the toilet as I write this review! P. s. I rarely, rarely have diarrhea and I’m on day 4! Considering a doctor soon

We eat here at this location very regularly and half the time our orders are correct and half the time they’re wrong. We always give them the benefit of the doubt.
Today happened to be an off day… when I went to open my order (takeout) and looked at the guacamole it was all dark brown throughout and on top. I posted a picture of it so you could see what I’m talking about.
I use avocados all the time at home so I understand that they darken when they sit for a long time, but when I’m ordering food from a restaurant I expect it to be fresh. Especially when it’s an additional cost.
I’m slowly losing faith in this chipotle location and the quality of food and service.
I’ll post an update after my husband takes the guacamole back to chipotle.

I was going to give it originally 5 stars, which is exceptional in my book, but there is one downside I cannot ignore. I went to Chipotle’s website and I found out that you can build your own meal online and it creates a nutritional facts calculator real time!
I weigh my food, count my calories and watch my macros so having the flexibility to build my meal in advance to meet those requirements was an absolutely amazing feature! This way you are 100% in charge of your nutrition and can eat as good, or as bad, as you wish.
Great idea Chipotle! You just earned yourself a fan.
Aside from that, the they have a «to the point» selection of items, but definitely enough to taste good and mix things up. Like the In N Out of Mexican food. To the point and delicious.
Why 4 stars instead of 5? The long wait lines during lunch time. I know Chipotle is popular, but something has to be done to expedite the process of ordering. Waiting in line, ordering, paying and sitting to eat should not take up 20 minutes of a customer’s time. That needs to be reduce by half. Then the othe problem of actually finding a seat.

Usually love this chipotle but was here Veterans Day at 4pm and tables were dirty, food was cold and staff completely unresponsive ! Total disappointment !

Really disappointed in this chipotle. Came in for lunch and was picking up two bowls and a quesadilla. Well the quesadilla was burned to the foil. So that was nice trying to peel my 3 year olds quesadilla off the foil. While telling the lady what we wanted on our bowls the black beans were totally low and most of the meats besides the chicken. I was really disappointed that there was no Barboca. I was really looking forward to it. This isn’t the first time though the meats have been low etc.
Looks like I will not be going to this chipotle anymore. :-(

1^st time at this location & I was impressed. It’s clean, organized & the employees are ALL friendly! I don’t experience friendly service much, so when I do, it’s a breath of fresh air.
I ordered a chicken burrito with almost everything. The guy that made it was really nice (most employees that make my massive burrito usually get attitudes bc it’s so large). I will definitely visit this location again. The parking lot is pretty big in a newer part of Upland, but expect to walk because there aren’t many spaces up front. Bring your appetite & enjoi this healthy eating! Olé!
