We had our home inspected by someone when we were in contract to buy, but we really weren’t sure that they had done a thorough job. This concern was proven correct when we had plumbing, electrical, and other issues show up in the first months of living in our new home. We thought another inspection might be a good idea so we would have a better idea of what else might need to be addressed. Michael Brady arrived as scheduled and got started checking out the house. I believe the actual inspection took over an hour, I can’t remember exactly as I let him do his work and went back to my own tasks. He came and got me after he was done and we were sent an inspection report either the evening of that same day or the next morning. The inspection report itself was very detailed, but unfortunately it showed that we had been correct in our doubts about the work done by the previous inspector. The Heritage Home Inspections report showed several items that were never mentioned by the previous inspector, who worked for a higher priced, national company. A couple of those items are actually safety concerns, and one is a major structural issue in the basement. Overall we were very pleased with the work done by Heritage Home Inspections.
