Groupon had a great deal on a Sam’s Club membership — $ 45 for their premium membership — plus a $ 20 gift card and a few freebies like a Rotisserie Chicken. I completed my membership at the Utica, Michigan store. YIKES — I waited 5 minutes in the New Members line without anyone saying anything to me, then I just moving over to the«Returns» line and finally got help. But even then, with 5 people behind the Members counter, it was real slow. When I finally got some help, the lady signing me up reminded me of one the Seven Dwarfs — Grumpy. Funny I have had warmer greetings while at the customer service counters at WalMarts! Anyway, I hope to get some savings from my membership… but I sure have no expectations of finding any great customer service at this Sam’s Club.

I’ve been a member since 2003, yes you can get really good deals on certain merchandise clothing, shoes, furniture. I know that over the years I have returned a lot of electrical items with flaws or just stop working in the first 3 – 6 months oh the Jewelry counter is lovely but I’ve also returned and or exchanged some pieces chain brakes, stones fall out and they’ve changed so many rules you only have 90days on computers, printers etc. If u can’t find your receipt knowing they record all your purchases will give u hell looking it up just to exchange. I’m handicap now and every month I come in and spend at least 700 $ on groceries and cleaning supplies and other things for my family and I can’t get help loading my vehicle, I pull around to the loading side and they will run by lol. It has been a couple of nice young men that have helped me and they speak to me every time I come also some of the employees and managers speak. I still think I should go check out Costco.

Busy busy busy for a Friday so easy to drop $ 200 but economical for getting BBQ supplies together all at one location. I’ve had great deals on soft fresh buns, with the pork spare ribs and baby backs. 3 racks per bag fairly lean 1.99 to 2.88 per lb. $ 20 – 25 of goodness in about 2 hours @ 200 degrees. I use a dry rub in a bag. So easy a caveman did it. I’m living proof. Grrr grunt grunt.
