So, it’s taken me forever to write this, but I’m so glad that I had the chance to work with James! He’s so professional and he helped me to really tap into myself and work on the weaknesses I have when I sing. I can’t wait to come back to California and continue lessons with him! :-)

My daughter and I have both been taking lessons from James for a while now and we couldn’t be happier!!! He is so encouraging and really knows how to put students at ease. I’ve been singing for a long time but never had any professional training. When my daughter started taking lessons, it wasn’t long before I decided I could benefit from training as well. James has taught us both so much, not just about how to use our voices properly, but also how to improve our overall stage presence!

I have been singing since I was in high school, and I have never felt such ease and camaraderie with a vocal coach as I have with James. He makes each lesson so fun and comfortable that the time just seems to fly by. I’d been singing for some time but I always lacked the confidence to follow through on my talent. James has helped me fine tune my skills and has helped give me the confidence I need to pursue my passion. My friends and I have noticed a definite improvement in my ability and I can honestly say I don’t think I could have gotten this far without James’ guidance.
If you are a beginner or someone who has been singing for a while and just want to fine tune your instrument, I highly recommend taking lessons from James. Not only will you gain a talented and knowledgeable teacher, but you will also gain a new friend.

Two of my high school aged children have been taking voice lessons from James Drips for over 6 months. We are thrilled with the improvement of range and confidence they have both attained. James is an encouraging coach who gives them the tools to reach beyond their comfort zone in order to maximize their singing potential. Both my 17 year old son and 15 year old daughter have high praise for the coaching they have received from James. During the past 6 months they have both had a number of auditions that James was able to help them prepare for and consequently get the parts they wanted. We have had a wonderful experience with James and look forward to many more.
