Lakeridge Liquors

Great neighborhood liquor store! Great selection, prices are aligned with all other stores in the area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Dave is so personable, even set aside a case of my favorite when there was a sale and running the risk of running out. (perhaps I am too much of a regular??) It is my «go to» liquor store! Easy in and out parking lot.

So according to their employee, it is OK to gouge out of state collectors as long as you keep the price on the floor low? Also it is even legal to ship the beer out of state? I believe doing so would be a violation of most states liquor and tax codes.
So to reiterate, business engages in price gouging and potentially illegal behavior. Avoid like the plague.

I love Lakeridge Liquors and the fact that they fuel my bad Crispin Brut habit. HEY! They only come in four packs, okay! I swear they wouldn’t know me (and my man) by name if Crispin came in, say, 12 or 24 packs. Yikes.
They have great prices and the guys are so friendly. My dude says they have a reallllllyyyy great beer/​craft beer selection. It’s a really nice liquor store with a small town feel!

So I used to spend a decent amount of time in the neighborhood and became well acquainted with the dudes that work here.
They sure are friendly northern burb style folk. You can totally tell that they eat a lot of hot-​dish and so forth… ya know, all those Minnes-​o-​tan stereotypes.
Okay, onto the review. Upon first look you would assume that this place is perilously small and couldn’t possibly have a good selection of liquor. And you would be almost right. You definitely aren’t going to find any specialized liquor in here, nor any super high end stuff. But they have a really good selection, and let you create your own six-​packs of beer which is nice, because who amongst us hasn’t thought it would be sweet to have more than one flavor of beer when you get home without having 24 bottles to find a place for?
All in all, this place is clean, the people are friendly (borderline TOO friendly), and the prices are reasonable.
