Great place to hike, walk your dog, bicycle or ride your horse. Gabe zimmerman was a wonderful young man and this is a fitting memorial to his spirit. It needs vault toilet and water !

Named in honor of a victim of the shooting in Tucson from January, 2011, Gabe Zimmerman was a hiker who would be proud this trail exists. It connects with the famed Arizona Trail. Park your car here but remember there are no facilities(no outhouse) and enjoy the trail. Bring a horse if you have one for the equestrian ride. I like to go down to the creek area where there is running water, and admire the bridges and see a train go by. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and has great hiking for all levels of hiker.
