Absolutely have to have their breakfast burritos – which by the way are served all day. I recommend the sausage one. They come with eggs, lots of sausage, cheese and get this… they use hash browns for the potatoes which really makes it great. I am always looking for a good breakfast burrito, but when I’m town there’s only one place to go!

Now this is a pretty good place to go for some Mexican food. The food sits between authentic and american. I’ll usually grab a Chile Rellano or the Shrimp Enchiladas in Salsa Verde(green sauce). If you like the standard authentic issue Chile Rellano«which I do», they make a pretty good one. I’m always stuffed after eating at Cabo Cabana. This place is probably one of the best if not the best place to go for Mexican food in Santa Clarita. With a couple exceptions, all the other places just don’t cut it. All that’s missing is a good drink to go with the food and your set but considering this one’s in the mall, it’s probably best without it.

Ordered a chicken tostada without the shell today… portion was huge but for $ 8 it should be considering this is at a food court… but the chicken was sooooooooo very salty! I ate it because I was starving but now I need to take a few water pills and work out a big sweat to avoid bloating like a blow fish! Two stars because the manager was super friendly. Otherwise, it would have been one. Blagh!

I can’t complain, it’s Mexican mall food. I only went here out of convenience(close to work) and because I don’t eat Chipotle(also close to work — South Park bloody underware, anyone?). As far as mall food goes, it wasn’t half bad. I ordered a quesadilla($ 4.99), which I figured would be delicious no matter what. Really, they are pretty impossible to mess up. After a bit of a wait, my quesadilla came out as expected. Cheesy goodness in between carbs. It killed my lunch hunger pangs and back to work I went. Will I be back? That depends on when Chronic Tacos opens…

For a mexican restaurant in the food court of the mall? Solid. They’re the only place within a stone’s throw of the mall that serves Breakfast Burritos, and when you’re super hungover and working at the mall? Done and done. I’ve gotten the chorizo breakfast burrito twice, and its a solid hangover cure. Their regular burritos are pretty money, but by the time you get to the bottom of it, the tortilla is super wet, and the structural integrity goes downhill. I had the nachos yesterday, and I think they were like $ 9, but a solid plate of nachos for 2 people. A little overpriced, but still pretty good. If you’ve read my prior mall food court restaurant reviews, you know my take on going in with an expectation. Expect something decent, and anything above that is a surprise. This place is above«decent» and I’m all about it. Especially when I’m hungover.

Went to mall and couldn’t decide what to get to eat! I was craving Mexican food and thought maybe I’d give Cabo Cabana a try since I seen an elderly couple eating it, it must be somewhat good. And so I ordered chicken taquitos combo plate which consist of rice, beans, chips, salsa, sour cream, and guacamole. Took a bite into the beans and wanted to BARF! It had a nasty distinct odor. YUCK! Then the taquito had absolutely NOFLAVOR! It was literally plain chicken with corn tortilla wrapped around and deep fried. I think I make better taquitos, no… I KNOW I make better taquitos than this place. The rice was just okay, tasted old as if it has been sitting there under a heat lamp. The guacamole was the only great thing, but how could avocado go wrong right? Okay now, I think I’m gonna barf from writing and having to think of this place, YUCK!

Stopped here on a drive up Highway 5 from LA to the Bay Area. I was in a hurry. Because they grilled my vegetables after I ordered my vegetarian burrito I had to wait 10 minutes. It was worth the wait. Yummy burrito, easy to eat while driving, and I ate the whole thing! It was large! I would go to this restaurant again and try their shrimp burrito.

Not sure what the other two people below me were thinking. I’ve eaten authentic Mexican Food, and white washed mexican food. This place has it’s own style really. My test has always been the shrimp burrito. I was more then disappointed. Shrimp tasted dirty, like unwashed. I was highly unsatisfied. We go to the mall for lunch about once or twice a week, and I avoid this place like the plague. DONTDOIT.BIZ4 Thumbs Way Down to this place. Not to mention over priced.

I already married myself off to one taco(Los Tacos on Santa Monica Blvd.), but I am not opposed to having Cabo’s chicken taco on the side. Crunchy all the way baby. The chips aren’t salted or as piping hot, fresh off the fryer as I prefer, but the salsa bar is gdoubleod good! Fast, easy and the best remedy for a hang over this girl could ask for in Santa Clarita.
