I had long hair and an ombré. It was NOT cute. When I contacted Natasha she actually listened to what I wanted. Listening and customer service go hand in hand! Shocker, eh? I sent her pictures, how short and the color I wanted. This girl went above and beyond! I love my color and I absolutely love the cut. I wanted it short. no Bob, no Lob. she mastered what I was trying to accomplish. Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had at a hair salon in a very long time. Prices are reasonable, I’d call and ask ahead of time. Thanks Natasha! :)

I had a hair emergency a few weeks ago and Nick the owner took care of me the day I called! He really cares about his customers and I will definitely be back here for my next salon visit!

Laura Johnson gave me a gorgeous cut and style. I’ve been growing out my hair for 3 years after rocking a pixie and I am extremely reluctant about trying new hairstylists because it’s taken me so long to get my length back. I moved to Santa Clarita 5 months ago and finally took the plunge and decided to get my hair cut in my new neighborhood. I am soooo happy with the hair cut and style Laura gave me. I’ve definitely found my new go-​to-​gal for my hair needs. She’s sweet, gentle, reasonable & extremely talented.

This review is mainly for Sunny, my hairdresser for the past 10 years. This spot opened recently and Sunny moved from her old location to this location, and needless to say, her superb service had me following her to this new spot.
Sunny is always attentive to my suggestions and always provides me with her honest opinion. She tells me what will work and what won’t work before delving in to fulfill my haircutting and hair dye requests. She starts off the appointment by washing my hair with several different products, which make me feel so relaxed I just want to drift off to sleep. I’ve been her patron for so long that oftentimes I don’t even need to tell her what to do, she just knows what I want and I always end up liking it. I love the way she blow dries my hair with a brush and manages to make it look naturally wavy without using a curler.
This location is situated at the inside corner of a little plaza. They sell boutiques and the place is appointment only. It’s always clean and smells of aromatic hair products. The service is always nice and professional.

Moved to SCV 5 years ago and spent the next 2 years jumping from salon to salon. Then I totally lucked out and found Concerto Salon and will continue there until leaving this valley. Nick the owner is a grand master hair problem-​solver and a warm, easy-​going, generous person to boot. He is father to 4 girls, two of whom are grown and in the business as well. The salon is always clean, pleasant, and prices are reasonable.

I have been wanting to dye my hair again and found a Living Social special with Riley and went ingot my appointment yesterday. I’ve never been to Concerto and its huge for a salon. It had a relaxing feel and I felt at home.
After talking to Riley about what I wanted for a few minutes, I decided to warm up my naturally dark hair with a warm bayalage. My hair was pretty long so I was happy when Riley didn’t get too scissor happy with it when I asked for a haircut. Riley was so sweet and accommodating and I walked out with hair that is Pinterest «Hair Goals» board worthy. Thanks again Riley!

Great people and great work. I can’t say enough about how wonderful they are, by far the best in the valley.

Loved her work when she was at Carlton but now Kirsten is at Concerto! Her cut and color is the best. She listens to what I want and I have never been disappointed. Concerto is a warm and comfortable place to be pampered. Ask for Kirsten!

Had a really great Haircut From Natasha yesterday. First time there and am very happy to have found a great place after looking for months:)

Being new to the area, I needed to find a stylist and I am thrilled to have found Laura! She took her time getting to know what I wanted done and ensuring a great hair experience. I’m very excited to go back next time!
Overall the salon is nice and clean, everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. I’m sure I will be using some of their other services in the future.

I came to this salon to use the Groupon I found for a cut and color with Laura. She did an amazing job and she knows exactly what she is doing, not to mention she is very sweet too! She is new to the area which is why she uses Groupon to regain clientele. I highly recommend coming to her if you are looking for a hairstylist.

Lauryn is amazing! I have a lot of hair and it’s really long. She has always done such an awesome job, even when I sprung a big change on her. She so accommodating with my schedule and patient with my 3 hour long appointments (because of my crazy hair). I love her and recommend her to anyone.

For the past year, I have been getting my hair done with «Nik», he is Amazing! We always chg it up from blonde, to brown, to dark, to brown and blonde again. He never disappoints me. He «KNOWS» what color goes best with ur skin tone. His 30 yrs of experience def shows! He’s curled, styled, and blown out my hair so beautifully! I am more than satified here. He really listens to what u want and will make cute little suggestions. :) I recommend to everyone to at least try this place out, with Nik, I knw u won’t regret it! ;)

Great service. I had my hair cut with Laura Johnson. She cut my hair just like I wanted it done. Definitely recommend her. She offered me water which was nice of her to do. The price was perfect & I also got conditioning.

I had a haircut by Renate recently. I explained what I’d liked done with my hair & she did a very good job in executing what I had in mind. I am very pleased with the haircut & would recommend her.
The salon is clean.

I recently had a Brazilian blowout by Danielle at Concerto Salon. I have had a dozen Brazilian or Keritan blowouts over the years. Some have been awful some have been good — Danielle was hands-​down, by far, bar none the very best!
The hair that grows out of my head is like arm-​pit hair, Danielle with whatever combination of product and technique got my hair to be the silkiest and smoothest it’s ever been! She even knew to flat iron it straight back allowing it to have more volume, and to be gentle with my bleached blonde streaks so as to avoid breakage.
I can’t speak highly enough about Danielle; her personality, her technique, her skill, everything about her is very professional and top notch!

I previously bought extensions & also got a weav service from CARLENE JARAMILLO, it was a pretty expensive service considering I got extensions with the clips sewn onto them…
The clips slide out of my hair, had a plastic backing, and weren’t the right type of clip for my hair, I told this too her and all she would recommend was that I come by so she can show me how to put them in my hair without sliding. My hair does not tease well, all I wanted was new clips sewn on.
I told her I wanted to cancel any future appointments because I was dissatisfied with the clips and thought she should correct it.
She got offended when I told her how I feel and said she honored her work, and that I was «ungrateful, and unappreciative» of what she did for me.
I thought that was NOT professional at all & I was offended she said that to me… I known her for years and it was very rude to say…
I don’t recommend anyone to go to her for extensions, however she is good with color but that’s about it. Hope this helps in the future for anyone.

I have been seeing Marilyn for 10+ years and have never been disappointed with the results. Marilyn is a true artist. Colors, cuts, special events (weddings, proms, formal dances, photo shoots), you name it, she does it, and she does it well. Marilyn has been there for every major event in my life and making me look good on the way. She is new to Concerto, but for her talent I would follow her to the moon.
