They always have the best customer service no matter what time of day and the workers always are so fun to talk to. I am a huge fan of their calzones and personal sized pizzas. The amount you get for the price you pay always astounds me since its HUGE portions for a reasonable price. Definitely one of Vallejo’s hidden gems.

We had the meat combo. I didn’t really like it. I couldn’t put my finger on why. I think it may have been the meatballs. The pizza was fine. The server was very friendly when I picked up the pizza.

Been coming here for almost two years they have been great and offered a military discount which is good cause prices are high. I was told by cashier they are under new management and not military friendly and even removed a family military photo that was up. The newer member was a bit rude when I asked to talk with management to understand the changes and stated he hardly ever comes in and when he does its quick in the morning. Sad to see this place going downhill very few good places in vallejo.

THEFOODISAMAZING. I really love the chicken parmigiana. It’s so cheesy and saucy just the way I like it. $ 16 for a one-person serving but it comes with two big slices of chicken breasts and the side pasta it comes with is rather big just for a «side pasta.» A pizza slice is just freakin huge. I shit you not, they’re bigger than your head. It’s not located in a great neighborhood, but don’t be deceived! Service isn’t GREAT, but the food makes up for it!

The chicken in the chicken catcatore was not fresh; I took all the sauce off of it and it had been precooked and reheated. The spring mix salad with marinated tomatoes was from a bag and I threw it out. There was no sauce in the spaghetti; it was tomatoes and ground beef, Large portions. Cheesy garlic bread and the pizza slice was just ok; nothing special. Pizza slice was very large. Pasta Fagoli Soup was not as good as Olive Garden’s and had bacon in it. Needless to say, I won’t go back after spending $ 53 plus tip.

Came here because of the good reviews and my cousin and I happened to be in the area so why not. We were craving pizza at the time so we thought this place would have some good pizza to satisfy our craving. We ended up getting a New York Stromboli which was freakin amazing definitely recommend that if you are not sure on what to get. We also shared a baked ziti which I can say was not up to par with the Stromboli. Maybe because we had the Stromboli first and our expectations were raised or because we were already full that’s why I personally didn’t think the baked ziti was as good as the Stromboli. But overall pretty good, weren’t able to finish because of the super portions. Will definitely fill you up and you will be pretty satisfied with what you get. Total price was about 26 which isn’t too bad I guess. I recommend!

I got the slice and salad combo. The salad was amazing, with marinated tomatoes. After eating the salad, I was thinking I was in for a real treat, but I came in craving pizza. After receiving the slice, I had mixed feelings just looking at it, it was huge, but the crust was too thick, which lead to sections of it being undercooked and doughy. The flavor was relatively bland as well. All in all, the service was very friendly, and I’d eat here again, as it filled me up at a fair price, but I’ve had much better pizzas.

I’ve come back to the restaurant since my last bad experience. They have new staff and the service was great! Same great food in large portions. Thanks for fixing your past service problems and making this a great restaurant again.

Absolutely love this place! It can get a bit pricey but it’s worth it! Definitely the closest we will get to authentic Italian food. Sizes are generous. The service? Omg amazing! You know how other places claim to treat you like family? Well this place really does! They are so nice and welcoming and Tull never find anyone mad or rude here. Definitely quality customer service! I absolutely love the stuffed shells! Pizza is A1 as well! Definitely the place to get pizza for a party! They are huge!

Although this is a really small restaurant in a sketchy part of Vallejo, its one of my favorites! The pizza is really yummy, the quality and serving portions are great. My favorite dinner meal here is the Eggplant Parm! I absolutely love it! The serving size is also huge! I get a side salad, pasta and marinara, warm bread roll with oil and garlic, and last but def not least my eggplant parm. Its so delicious! I cant seem to try something new here because I love this dish so much. I recommend it :)(side note– the customer service has been ok… My fiancé and some of our family went in July and the waitress wasn’t very nice. She responded with attitude and was not friendly. Luckily we went this weekend and didn’t see her anymore.)

Again great service and great food I guess you get what you give when you walk into this place. As for the people that have had issues I feel sorry for you missing out on great food. As far as there cash policy makes sense to me since we are in Vallejo and where the restaurant is located can attract not the best citizens of Vallejo I am sure they have been stiffed multiple times. Understand your surroundings instead of being offended by a policy that helps protect his business.

Tried to place an order for 38.00 on the phone for pick up and was told they would not take my order until it was payed for, since I was paying cash and other people have ordered and not come to pick up their food. I asked why I was being punished for something someone else did, and I was told, sorry that’s our policy. I have ordered food here since the first week they opened, and now I will never go back. All I wanted, was to order take out and have it ready when I pick it up, and pay for it with cash. Is that really that difficult. They should not be in the restaurant business if they won’t take cash orders Togo, it’s a frigging pizza place. The owners response says it all. I stated the facts as to what happened to me, and he decided to name call me, and not address the issue. So sad that a business owner like this exists. It’s funny because after I hung up, I called Napoli, they took my order and provided me with an amazing meal. I am a nice guy, but attacking reviewers on Unilocal with name calling potentially can only encourage retaliation, and local enemies. The owner should be careful in name calling and attacking because some people aren’t nice like me. Regardless, I encourage people to avoid this place because your money will be going to an owner whom is more concerned with name calling long time customers as opposed to addressing the issue that was brought to his attention. Shameful and disgraceful in my opinion.

We came here twice first time we ordered a 26inch pizza with cheese. The pizza was cooked perfect, the sauce tasted authentic and the ranch delicious. We came back for a 36inch for a party and it was just as great, although we unfortunately forgot the ranch dressing this time. The owner Alessandro is very welcoming and is always trying to please his customers as much as he can. Try the pizza here you won’t be disappointed it’s great pizza and great value for your money.

SHORTANSWER: I will never go back or recommend this place. DETAILS: The place is small, divey, and unwelcoming. Service was… well, she just knew how to work the cash register. At the register, home-made signs printed in bold, capitalized font AND highlighted in yellow informed customers of their various policies: no refunds, no exchanges, no outside food, no taking drinks before payment, etc. Next to these«screaming» signs was a big TIPS jar… they have got to be kidding! We ordered the baked ziti and two strombolis. A salad and bread was included. The portions were huge, but everything was so salty, I felt my tongue burning. I found their food inedible; I wouldn’t even give this to the dog. I don’t believe anything here is home-made, it all tasted very«processed» and out of the bottle. I was disappointed, especially since the Unilocal rating for this place was high. Oh well, it was our first and last visit.

I lived in Vallejo for two years. Before this period of my life, I’ve only lived in big urban cities, so coming to Vallejo was a real culinary shock. I had just moved from Los Angeles aka every foodie’s fantasy, so I was obviously spoiled with the best food ever. My standards were very high for good food. I quickly learned that the food in Vallejo would never match up to food in bigger cities, such as LA. But, what I do love about the Vallejo food culture is that it is full of family owned, hole-in-the-wall eateries. Those are my favorite places to eat — no matter where I am. I had eaten at Big Italian many times while I was living in Vallejo. I had most of the specialty pizzas and even ordered the ginormous 10 pound pizza before(which is cut into 40+ squares which easily could feed a group of 10 hungry students — this is from firsthand experience!). I visited Vallejo the other day after being gone for about a year, so I stopped by Big Italian for a pizza with 2 of my friends. We got a meat combo pizza(I think). It was good — crisp, generous with toppings, and cheesy. We got a large and were easily able to eat the entire thing. Now, this isn’t the best pizza I’ve ever had by any means, but it’s solid. There is nothing special about it taste-wise, but it is still tasty. I think that Big Italian is the best pizza place in Vallejo. Great service and good prices too. But, do beware that there may be some sketchiness going on in the parking lot at night. I guess that is a general advisory warning for most places in Vallejo anyway.

Excellent. The salad, bread and pizza was all made with fresh ingredients and made to order. Friendly service and a great quiet atmosphere. Visiting from out of town it’s nice to find a place like this.

I’m the typical New york pizza gourmand. I know great pizza when I encounter it. I have twice had the slice with a small drink. Terrific! The crust dough has stretch marks. Its crisp and just a little oily. $ 5… I spent many years in restaurant work and I see some if their dishes that come out. Nice presentation! This very much a pizza place with real diversity on its menu. Best deal for miles around. Clean, friendly, good service and pizza place music in background. Vic Damone, Dino… ahhhhh

Loved the food here and the prices are on point. I ordered the veggie slice. The crust was crispy and yummy! Boyfriend ordered the soprano Stromboli which had pesto and chicken. Soooo good. And their warm bread is a nice compliment. I’ll definitely be back! The service was very helpful and accommodating.

By far, one of the best tasting pizzas in Vallejo, possibly Solano county. I never thought I’d find a good pizza outside of San Francisco.
