Love my tattoo from Manny:) I don’t remember the other guys’ names who were there, but everyone was super friendly and calmed me down when I was nervous as shit! Would def recommend them to my sexy nurse friends! ;)

I was Tattoo Shop searching yesterday to get a piece done dedicated for my Mom’s memorial and I found them here on Unilocal.I based my decision based on the reviews because I don’t just want to go to a Shop where it’s like «Your ink is done, now pay and GTFO» the reviews don’t lie. I believe Derek and his Crew are one of the best out there and they are so chill and laid back, not to mention their amazing works. Awesome Crew! As soon as I walked in, I instantly felt welcomed. they didn’t give me the WTH do you want attitude. I presented the idea I have in mind to Derek and he came up with an outstanding piece. I dedicate the piece to my mother and they made it possible. Thank you guys! I definitely suggest this place if you want to get amazing work with great customer service. They just earned my business 100%

What a horrible place. Came in to talk about tats and prices cuz I was ready to get some done. Stood around for 5 minutes none of the staff approached me even tho they looked me straight in the eyes. I looked around a bit more and they gave me a couple glances not even interested. Lmao I’ve never seen this type of customer service. Racist idiots

Jamon tattooed a blue diamond in the ditch of my throat in 2008 and it is still vibrant and beautiful to this day. I have had other tattoos that I’ve gotten after that fade and his tattoo hasn’t. Not only is Jamon an excellent tattooer but he is an attentive and gentle artist that will listen to all your ideas and help create a beautiful custom piece that will last ages.

Time for an update. as Jaiman has moved on, bring on Derek! I got my second piece from Derek today, he took my idea, and drew it up on the spot, tattooed it clean, and quick, great color choices, and an all around incredible job! Still the same good prices, easy going staff, and good music! Can’t wait to go back for more!

Just got one done by Ricky. He does perfect work. He was very helpful and showed genuine interest in my ideas. He scheduled me in quick and got it done quick. Price was spot on too. Well worth the money. I would definitely recommend this place and to see Ricky. Don’t shop around, just go to Genuine Electric Tattoo.

Huge fan of Derek’s work. I would recommend him to everyone who wants an amazing tattoo. I posted a photo on here as well. Gonna be going to him again.

I’ve gotten 2 tattoos from here. One with Derek and one from Ricky. Both guys super professional, friendly, honest, and willing to hear out your ideas. The store and gear is super clean. Have a bunch of friends who have gotten work done their too.

Great experience! Derek is the man. I am working on a sleeve and I’m so glad I found this shop. They have some great traditional flash to choose from, the best I’ve seen in the valley. I’m a Traditional American flash type guy. Sailor Jerry all the way and I’m very happy to have work from an artist who is just as passionate about the TA style. Derek gave me a great tattoo and he wast fast. Cant wait till Im all healed up so I can go back for more!

Making the seemingly simple designs look like the most amazing tattoos is probably the hardest thing to accomplish. Derek achieves this with ease, he is truly gifted and committed to putting out the best work possible. If traditional work is what your after look no further and stop burning up the Web with useless searches. Genuine Electric is the place to go!!!

Derek is insanely talented. I’ve been getting tattooed by him for about 3 years now and his work continues to blow me away. If you like bold, traditional tattoos he’s your man.
I’d call ahead for an appointment just in case.

Where do I even start? Wanted my first tattoo and found Derek while looking around online. I trusted him completely and let him do what he thought was best with my idea. I couldn’t be happier with the result. Derek is rad and hit it out of the park — the finished piece is better than I thought it would be. The shop is super clean and they’re honest. I can’t say enough about Derek and Genuine Electric! I had a 15+ year old eyesore tattoo that I just couldn’t handle any more. I was referred to Derek by a good friend, and man! This dude knows his stuff! He took time and gave insight to how we could create a design together that would both fit my personality and last through the years.
He was extremely kind and awesome to be around throughout the whole tattoo, and when I needed a breather in the 3^rd hour he even invited me into his candy stash to get my blood sugar back up.
The finished product is gorgeous. I’m so proud to wear his work on my skin. Go see this talented dude.

Just finished my tattoo and I love it!!! Jaiman is really good!!! Jaiman was the best!!! He was fast, painless and the prices was very reasonable. He will be my go to from now on.

After 7 years, I finally convinced my hubby, Eric, to get a tattoo. My artist was booked for quite some time, so I found Genuine Electric through Unilocal.We called ahead of time last Tuesday night, and they said they had availability for a walk-​in. The parlor was very clean, had a laid-​back vibe, and there was plenty of street parking available.
Eric wanted the Deathly Hallows symbol from Harry Potter on his forearm. Although it’s a simple design in theory, I was worried because because there is no room for error with those geometric shapes. The artist that worked with the hubby was Jaiman. He guided Eric with choosing the size and placement, then went to draw up the design while we chilled on the couch. When it was ready, Jaiman placed the stencil, had Eric fill out paperwork, then got to the inking. Eric’s tattoo came out PERFECT. Seriously, the lines were incredible.
We ended up going back to Jaiman last night so that I could get the Dark Mark (also from Harry Potter) tattooed on my forearm. Again we were impressed by the clean lines. He does a stellar job, and prices are reasonable as well.
We’ll definitely be back this summer for more, and have been spreading the word to friends and family in the Valley.

I have had a few tattoos done here but the most special one to me is my family crest one. Derek did this one and it turned out great. the prices are really reasonable and the place is nice cause there’s not a bunch of people hanging around in there and its very relaxing. Im sure I will go back whenever I need to touch up color. since I’m out of space haha. Great place.

Reviewing both my gf’s and my experience there.
First time we went scouting a place for my gf to get her first tatto when we stumbled onto this place. Quick research on Unilocal led us to giving it a shot. We were greetes by very nice people not you’re usual belittling artists. Imaculate shop! honest prices and clenest lines I’ve seen (they specialize in traditional so they really do have impecable line work.) A small 5 minute tattoo later and were convinced that they’re the shop il get the rest of my work done. Gf came back 2 weeks later for another small tattoo and I received a beautiful american traditional peacock. Honest prices, clean clean clean shop, amazing line and color, and genuinely good people to talk to. Hope to be there again soon
