Craftapalooza @ Sucre Shop

A good time for an evening away from the house. Brooke was so kind to open her usually closed to the public shop and walk us through a few crafts, and what she is offering is adorable. I’m very happy for her and her success. I’d agree with a few of the other reviewers in that the crafts were kind of simple, and I would have liked something a little more challenging perhaps without rotations, but I understand we had to appeal to the lowest common denominator of craftiness level. It was a good event, and the flow was nice. Everyone seemed to be having a good time, and it was nice to meet some new Elites as well as those attending their first Unilocal events. This event was certainly unique and provided a great night away from the hubbub on a Wednesday night!

I had a really great time. Brooke is so awesome!!! she is very friendly, professional creative, & fun.. she was very helpful in explaining how to make the arts and crafts. I got the chance to make wooden spoons, gift tags & key change. SHOUT OUT!!! To. Aaron for doing a great job on the buttons… This is a good idea if you having a teenagers party. I will be using Sucre Shop in the future. Thank you Brooke & Aaron for a nice evening.

As my first Unilocal event, this was great! The activities were a little simple, but it was still very fun. The activities were good choices for rotating groups. I am very grateful to Brooke for inviting us into her studio, which was lovely. I would definitely do it again.

Quite honestly, I did not know what to expect. I had a longish day that started at 6:30 in the morning. Maybe I am a bit of a hypocrite. Making key chains, decorating wooden spoons, making buttons and making gift tags might be fun for some. But, this is not me. I am more used to challenging crafts (e.g. knitting, crocheting, etc.). By about 9 pm, I clearly ran out of fuel. It is a cute shop & am happy that the owner opened her doors to Unilocalers. The ambiance was quite creative. Clearly organized. The owner was quite helpful. The conversations were flowing & awesome. I got to know some new people. Kudos to Aaron for setting up such a unique Unilocal event.

Craftapalooza at Sucre Shop was a very fun evening of making crafts that made me feel like I was revisiting my childhood. But with beer and wine flowing all evening, it was clearly for adults and a good time was had by all. Brooke’s party products are wonderful and you can tell she really enjoys her business. Thank you Brooke and to Aaron from Unilocal for hosting this great event!

I had a great time. The owner was wonderful she took the time to show us how to actually make the crafts. I made a custom keychain custom buttons. Decorated wooden spoons along with custom gift tags. Aaron B was insightful and a gracious host. The wine and beer helped make the evening go by fast. All should definitely look for this company on the Internet to purchase wonderful crafts for your next party!

I’m not the best craftmaker, but I usually have fun as I work on it. Craftapalooza at Sucre Shop reminded me of art class, except eating and drinking were encouraged rather than punishable by death, the teachers were nice, I wasn’t told I was doing anything wrong and I didn’t have to clean up. Perhaps the only art class-​like things about Sucre Shop is that I got a little paint on my hands and left with stuff I didn’t come in with.
Who knew stamping could be so fun? I hadn’t stamped anything since I was a little kid, and even then I wasn’t that into it. At the event, I had two opportunities to stamp. Way more fun than stamping for scrapbooking!
I received my second Missouri Made mug at Craftapalooza at a time when I’m experiencing quite the mug shortage at home. I also left with four cute buttons, two wooden spoons and gift tags. Thank you, Aaron, for setting this up. Thank you, Sucre Shop, for a memorable evening, and for the crafts.
