I am a Physician. I love what I do. I believe in delivering nothing but 110% quality of care to my patients. Naturally, when it comes to referring my patients on to a specialist, I only seek out people that follow my «Mantra» of 110%. I challenge you to find a better Podiatrist. Great location, close to Queens. Worth the drive for those of you who live «Out East». Dr. Barkin is very skilled, compassionate and just a fine guy. He has cared for me many times and has cared for many of my patients. Not only is he an exceptional clinician, but he is so good that he teaches Surgery to young Podiatrist. He has my highest recommendation.

I guess not many people use Unilocal for doctors, but dr. Shapiro is the best. I reluctantly went to him for an ingrown toe nail. He explained what he was doing and although it hurt a lot (as expected, hence my reluctance) he put me at ease by talking about tv shows and my job. Such a nice guy.
