This place used to be one of my favorite restaurants. However my recent trip to pjs was disappointing. When we received our bill I noticed that the soft drinks were almost $ 4.00 each with tax. That is crazy and a rip off. The new owners are looking to make more money but in the long run all they are doing is making loyal customers go somewhere else
Buyer beware. Bring your own soda or drink water!

FANTASTIC STEAK TID BITS! Service is always great when I come. I love this establishment. They really cater to the customer. A very homey feeling. Keep up the good work guys!

WOW!!! Really Impressed, The food was Awesome, I ordered the Shell Steak, it was cooked to Perfection. The drink were Cold & of course the service was exceptional great. We had a Surprise: Every Tuesday night is Open Mic Night & the Musician were Excellent. So if you play an instrument or sing, Come on Down & Entertain Us. Thank you for a great time.

Had a burger, was decent, Roll was not great. Sweet potato fries were good. Seems like more of a drinking place. Very nice people hanging and working there. Had to try a different place tonight so gave it a try!

I wish I could give this restaurant negative stars… I rarely ever complain to this extent but this place was God awful. So I went for dinner with my boyfriend we sat down one waitress came over and asked us for drinks and if we were ready, which we were not. Probably a minute and a half later a different waitress asked same question. So finally we order from second waitress. Our food came out she dropped it on the table and made a b line toward the back. We were able to stop her and ask for some sauces for our food. I looked at my steak tidbits and was immediately not pleased. I tried to cut it and it was rubber. It looked like mystery meat i wouldn’t give to my dog. The steak and supposed garlic bread had no seasoning. Instead the bread had blood from the steak on it and was mushy and cold. I ordered it medium. The cheese was not melted and was also cold. I had to flag down our waitress which ugh I never do but she never came back. I asked to change to chicken tidbits and she asked why I said it was chewy and cold. She didn’t seem surprised. Twenty minutes later still no food. No apology she never came back to tell me it would be right out nothing. My boyfriend finished his burger which was average so by then I was so over it I had to tell the other waitress to just cancel it. Waitress number one came back and dropped the check didn’t ask if we wanted anything else. Nothing. No manager came over. This place is pitiful. I am not one to do this but I had to. I am still in shock a business could operate like this. Pitiful.

Food was very good, price was a little higher than i thought it would of been, but i will come here again.

Came to PJH for Sal’s karaōke and enjoyed a nice pub dinner and drinks. The charming and friendly server recommended BBQ as the best flavor for their wings and she was spot-​on; great choice.
Snacks are uncreative and every sandwich but one had feathers at some point. That leaves the Krunch Burger… great choice, a little on the well done side with fries cooked similarly. Yum!
A few John Dalys, the signature drink of vodka and iced tea/​lemonade and, SCORE!

Above average Customer service, average food.
They treat everyone like they’re «a regular».
I’ve been here three times, and they’ve always treated us well.
I’ll always be a customer as long as they continue to treat everyone who walks in their doors with courtesy and in a friendly welcoming manner.
(Fyi: I’ve ordered sandwiches, burgers, calamari… After reading the feedback, I will have to try their wings.)
I usually get a female waitress, but on our last visit there was an older (in comparison to the wait staff) gentleman serving us. He was great! Good sense of humor, attentive… my friend enjoyed herself on her first visit.

Their wings are awesome! Good variety of options on their menu with something for everyone. I have gotten their salad with chicken, sliced apples and gorgonzola a number of times and it has always been really good. Their burgers are all super tasty too!

Great atmosphere for a good time and drinks! Love the burgers! Waitress was a bit snotty but other than that, I would go back!

Great local pub! Prices aren’t bad and the food is good. They make what I feel are some of the best burgers in valley stream. They also make really good wings, which we have ordered trays of for the Super Bowl. Check this place out.

Check them out for their 2 for 1 burgers on Wednesdays and their daily happy hour from 12 – 7!

The staff is always super friendly and the food is pretty good. I have been here for dinner a few times and have not been disappointed. They have some really good specials, including the seasonal pre fixed splat night (lobster, steamers, steak + more).
I have come here a few times for lunch, 1^st time was great 2^nd time my chicken was undercooked, 3^rd time the food took forever to come out, 4^th time the soda machine was not working properly so we had to wait for it to get regassed or whatever it needs to do.

This place is a Valley Stream staple, I’ve been coming here for years.
The bar is towards the front, and the restaurant in further back. The staff is very friendly, and they are always quick to seat you, refill your drinks, etc. The food is always great. They have a wide selection of different burgers and sandwiches, and they also have a large selection of entrees. Wednesday is 2-​for-​1 burger day, which I feel is a steal, especially for the size of the burgers. The lunch specials are also a steal. The TVs are HD, and there’s a lot of them. It’s a perfect place to watch the game with your friends or family. The bar seems to have a good selection of beers and alcohol. The atmosphere of the place is very cozy, and the place has very nice décor. I definitely recommend this place for a dinner with your family, or just hanging out with your friends.

I love local bars, and having heard so much about this place being Valley Stream’s go-​to bar, I had to check it out. It’s also really convenient that it’s down the block from Sip This, the coffee shop on Rockaway.
They seem to have specials every single day of the week. My friends took notice very quickly of the deal they have going on Mondays for wings and beer. Seemed like a good deal if you’re a wing lover!
While the drink deals aren’t quite as clear (it simply says that drinks are «discounted»), I didn’t spend more than $ 10 for a solid few rounds of beer. Unfortunately, they don’t have a very varied selection of draft beers.
On the day I went there, they only had Guinness, Harp, Smithwick’s, Blue Moon, Coors Light. All very typical beers — nothing special. However, being that it’s mostly an older crowd with a lot of regulars, I’m sure that selection appeals to them!
They also have a cute little fireplace in the middle of the establishment, which added a nice touch. Definitely a very welcoming décor. I’d come here again!

Loved this place!!! now this a five stars on a bar/​pub rating. Ordering for take our has been great, I didn’t have any service issues with this place at all… I have ordered repeatedly, and plan on continuing to be a regular customer,
The burgers are spot on! Have had the chicken tidbits in a fried version with mozzarella. Yum! I definitely recommend it!
