This place has potential, but the food just doesn’t cut it for me. They use those rock solid bacon bits on their salads that could easily break someone’s tooth and if you want to eat healthy here the salad portions are tiny. It’s obvious all the food comes frozen and then just thaw it out and cook it. It would be nice if they jazzed the place up by getting a real cook and making it more of a resturaunt atmosphere. The people who live nearby in Valley and on Valley Shores lake have minimal choices when it comes to food and if Outer Limits had better food people would go there as opposed to driving out to west center or maple for food. They could do magnitudes compared to what they’re doing now, but I think it would take getting new owners in order for that to happen.

Pub grub, Came there starving late at night, The chicken fried steak was a bit overcooked, but had it been cooked to perfection it would have been a great one!

It’s okay. I had a Southwestern patty melt. The meat was the problem… over patted or from frozen, so it was tough. At least they seasoned it. The jalapenos on the burger were a welcome flavor, and all of the rest of the components were just fine. I had tater tots for a side. They were delicious, as anything that unhealthy should be.

I honestly didn’t expect this place to be open, it wasn’t quite 10:30am yet and suburban style sports bars usually do not open this early. But this one does, at least on Saturday, in order to take advantage of the nearby golf course. And sure enough, there were already a few golfers inside. The problem was, the linoleum part of the floor was being waxed… during business hours. We were not able to enter through the main door and were only able to enter through a side door by making a jump to the carpeted area. All the furnishings had been moved to this carpeted area so there was very little room to maneuver. The four golfers were trapped, and the room smelled of floor cleaner. We even had to reach to get to our beers, unable to completely approach the bar. Luckily we were limber and sober enough to make a leaping escape when we were ready to go.
