In the Middle Mediterranean Grille Food Truck visited our offices today. They serve chicken tender fritters, gyro pitas, chicken schwarma pitas, vegan falafel pitas, and Mediterranean chicken rice bowls. Unfortunately there was a long line for this truck and the wait was over 20 minutes which I didn’t appreciate because it was brutally cold and windy. There was a line of 20 people waiting that had already ordered and we were all shivering. Plus, the extra wait really cut into our lunch break so I didn’t have time to hit up the gym. I thought about cancelling my order and going to another truck with no line a couple of times but I’m glad I managed to pull through. I ended up getting the $ 8 Greek lamb gyro with lamb tomatoes onions tomatoes and tzaziki sauce and I added a hot sauce to it that paired nicely. The server was very friendly, informative, and even gave me a sample of the chicken schwarma to help me decide on which meal to get. I decided against the chicken schwarma because I didn’t think it was too flavorful. The gyros ended up being more flavorful W the hot sauce. Because of the long wait, the server hooked me up with a bonus cucumber salad for the inconvenience. The lamb meat was more thinly sliced than Acropolis and had a nice well marinated flavor. While waiting, and writing this review, I went to which was prominently displayed on the food truck and the site was still«under construction». They could’ve at least posted a menu or phone number on there while they work on the graphics. The cook needs to work on prepping more food so the wait times are not as bad for next time. If they can get the food out quicker, I will be back again! Thanks!
