McKinney, TX
Supposedly they «guarantee» speeds of 30Mbps but, I have never gotten even close to those speeds. I average about 5Mbps download and 2Mbps upload speeds. Their guarantee only give you a $ 5 discount on months where they speed is below 30Mbps. I just want internet that works and has a fairly consistent speed above 20Mbps so that I can run my home based business. I would not reccomend GCEC to anyone until they get their infrastructure issues fixed.

Absolutly terrible. Worst internet service provider in the world. Wifi turns off every 10 – 15 minutes causing you to wait 5 minutes to reset it. Not the mention the suppppperrrr slow speeds. Would not recomend to anyone. Terrible company…

Have had nothing but great experiences with GCEC. We have their fiber service and they have worked with us at every step of the way. I had Verizon FIOS prior to buying our home and moving to Anna and was worried with our internet service options and GCEC has filled the role perfectly. Even if Verizon FIOS were to come out to Anna I would not switch back. Lance has been a great contact with any service related questions I have had and has been prompt and very professional! Definitely recommend their service to everyone in the city of Anna!

What I would go with if I had zero other choices. Connection is slow, always up and down. Had ours go out on Friday, no tech support on weekend, and supposedly only one guy in tech support that works during the week– so don’t expect to get anything done quickly.
