Just moved to VanAlstyne and ate here for the first time. Had a burger and it was delicious! The bartender waitress was excellent with service. Definitely going back often.

If running a business means you bring your kid with you and allow them to go to tables with your server and carry people’s food and dishes. with out cleaning his hands completely disruptive while guest are ordering«Your going to be out of business really fast» I know I will not be back Im so grossed out I wouldn’t step in here if you paid me too! Never in my life have I seen anything like this disgusting as an owner and parent you FAIL!

Stopped in for lunch today. Just wanted something to eat before a business meeting. Sat at the bar and ordered a mushroom burger and fries cooked medium. Strange thing happened when I got it. It was cooked perfectly great smokey flavor and pink in the middle like fresh meat should be. Nice ambiance inside. Bar tender was very attentive and brought me like 5 ice teas. Great service and great food. Thanks guys I will be back again soon. That burger was amazing! Just good.

I was impressed with everything about my first visit to Pure Country B&G. I almost didn’t go because the other reviews talked about the loud music…(to clarify, I LIKE loud music [metal, rock] but) I prefer country music be super-soft or off. ANYWAY, the music was a non-issue. The TVs were tuned to several different games, the bar was well stocked and the food was very good. The Staff was friendly and thorough. I’ll be visiting them again.

This place needs to figure out what they are. The sign says that it’s a sports bar & grill but the last three times we’ve been there the music was so loud that it seemed more like a honky tonk. I understand that it’s a bar but when we go there for dinner before 7 pm music is ok as long as it’s not blaring which it has been each time. We went there recently on a Friday night before 7 and there were people dancing while some guy was singing karaōke. Again I get that it’s a bar but if I’m going for dinner, I would prefer to be able to hear the people that I’m with and not loud music or random people attempting to sing. Also, what kind of sports bar doesn’t show the UFC pay preview when a customer tells the owner that they would bring a party of 30 to watch it? You just sent business to another place to spend their money. Overall, the food is good but they serve frozen French fries instead of homemade. The bartenders(sorry I forgot the two girls names) are great!
