I usually go to the BA in Hazel Dell and they are amazing. This store, however, is either very understaffed or the employees don’t care about their customers. I went through the drive thru and ordered my drink. Then I went to sit in front of the window to pay/get my drink. I waited there for 20 minutes before I even saw a barista come by! And when she finally did come, she was very rude. I was really disappointed with that store.

People are awesome, coffee was, ok. What really disappointed me was the nasty breakfast sandwich. I should have known better when I asked for no cheese on it, they said they all come with cheese… so obviously pre-made and microwaved, and It certainly tasted like it. Had I not used the drive thru and been on route to an appt, I would have given it back asking for a refund. Shame a company would put their employees in that position, I bet they are embarrassed to sell them. I will pass by next time and go elsewhere.

A couple of weeks a go we purchased ½ lb of coffee here. This week my husband went in and was told he could not sell a half a pound of coffee. We don’t like to keep a lot at home as we travel a lot. So back to Starbucks.

I love the coffee and the people, but every time I come in the wireless is terrible. Can never connect and when I do the service is spotty.

Just moved to the area & was looking for a coffee shop where I could get work done on my laptop. This particular location nailed it with atmosphere and ambiance. Lots of seating and the coffee itself is delicious. I’ve gone back several times since my first visit. Always have had positive experiences with the baristas, and have no complaints.

Love this place, amazing to study, the people here are kind, there’s warm seating and amazing coffee taste. I like to study here and enjoy fall. Windows provide a great outdoor view. Biscotti is okish but the rest of there baked goods are nice

I went here to study and was hoping to grab a bit to eat and a beverage. I really liked the atmosphere and how big it was with a variety of seating. The staff was really friendly and they had a good place going. It wasn’t too loud so it was a good place to hang out for a few hours and study. There wasn’t a whole lot of non-caffeine/non dairy options. Like flavored ice tea, they only had 3 options. There was absolutely nothing that was gluten free, no fruit. So eating wasn’t a possibility for me. I bought a orange berry tickler smoothie and it was really good. They had a whole section of non dairy options on their menu. The only reason I left at all is because I was starving!

Always delicious! The prettiest teas I’ve ever had. Coffee is amazing and always made with love. The food is great and healthy portions. I love their breakfast, it’s delicious. I’ve tried just about everything. The vibe is fun, as well

Great coffee and they do a good blended espresso drink as well! Typically if you are in a rush I recommend the drive through coffee option because one time I was at the mill plain location and I had to wait a good 10 minutes before being attended to because they were training a new employee and also very busy with the drive thru orders. I recommend BACR!

Note to everyone: The«Opening Time» seems to be only a suggestion, or wishful thinking. I had to take my wife to a meeting at 4:30 on Monday morning, and planned on spending ta couple of hours here giving them a try when they opened at 5:00. I parked outside at about 4:35 and waited patiently in my car. I saw someone inside, but no lights on — but waited until 5:00. Finally at about 5:05 I saw someone else walk in — so I assumed I was being silly waiting, and that they were indeed open. Nope, I got out of my car a minute or two later, walked in and the place looked closed — no one to be seen, and no indication that they were anywhere near opening by 5:10. So — I’m writing this from Starbucks by Costco. They opened at 4:30.

I would consider myself a coffee snob. The Mexican mocha here is pretty good but the rest of them I don’t really care for and I’ve had better. By no means is it gross, its just your average place. I do like the atmosphere though.

I recently moved to the area and spent a couple of hours at BA. I loved the windows, décor, and general ambiance. The chai and muffin were great. It’s a nice place but needs some tweaking. On my initial order and then when I followed up with juice(since I had been there a while), there was a longer delay than expected for someone to come to the counter and take my order. I also wasn’t asked if my order was to go or not(as I’m used to) so was given everything to go. When I ordered juice, the price on the menu was $ 3.00 but I was charged $ 3.50. When I questioned this the counter person asked the barista for an explanation. She said the prices had increased. There was no offer to charge the listed price, which I would have expected. The $.50 isn’t important, it’s the credibility and making sure materials are updated when a price has been increased on the computer. It also bothered me that there wasn’t a place to recycle things, so the cup, sack, napkin, and juice bottle were all dumped in the trash.

Not the best place to go if you are really INTO coffee. Their more common and popular flavored drinks(like mochas and vanilla lattes) are good, but their regular coffee or Americanos are sub par. And sometimes simply disgusting. If you like your coffee sweet and desserty, go here, if you like your coffee for the actual coffee taste then I suggest checking out some of the more artisanal places around town. Compass isn’t too far from this location; it is over off St Johns. The atmosphere at Brewed is pretty fantastic though. Comfy couches and always clean! It is a little loud though; the acoustics aren’t too great and the sounds of the espresso machines and blenders are masked by even louder music at times. Great place for a convo though if you sit away from the baristas. Great place to work on your laptop(Wifi too!), but bring some headphones. I do love their«Iced Belgian Lattes» when I am in the mood for something sweet(my go to drink at other cafés is usually an americano), I can’t find anyone else in town that makes what they call an «Iced Belgian Latte» as good. There milkshakes are great too(I like the Espresso Mocha Chip), and their«coolers» are alright.

I like the food and drinks at this place. The Mexican mocha and the peanut butter cinno are good. The breakfast bagel sandwiches are delicious. When I have gone into brewed awakenings, the staff is friendly and has good customer service. Also, the ambiance is excellent. I love the tables, chairs, décor, and layout. Now for the biggest problem. Most of the time I use the drive-through, and almost every time something is wrong with my order. It’s very frustrating and it’s gotten to the point where I just assume that something will not be what I asked for such as not the right drink, forgetting my stamp, not cutting my breakfast sandwich in half, and so on. However, this place is good and close to put house, so we keep going despite these occurrences.

Brewed Awakenings has amazing coffee and the ambiance is sublime. They roast their own coffee and the baristas are friendly. It’s also not too expensive. I’ll definitely be coming back here soon! I love it.

I really like Brewed Awakenings. They are always friendly and super fast making my order. I usually only get the drip coffee, which doesn’t take too much preparation, but friends have ordered other drinks and they are very quickly made. There is an area to study or use your computer while enjoying some coffee. There is also a drive through if you are in a hurry and don’t have the time to stop in. I suggest going in and relaxing with a coffee and friends. Great place!

I will soon be moving to Vancouver and this place is right up the street from my future home. I am so excited! I love love love this place(and I’ve only been through the drive thru. I’m sure it is just adorable inside(maybe it will become my new study spot). Curiosity got the best of me and I ordered a Mexican Mocha. OHYUM. It is absolutely fabulous! I highly recommend it. I returned on my way out of town for another mocha as I couldn’t stop thinking about how yummy it was. I ordered a breakfast bagel sandwich as well and I was not disappointed! Also, I have a chocolate lab who goes everywhere with me and loves drive thrus mainly because of the attention but especially for the treats, the barista was so nice and gave him a tasty biscuit. GOGOGO. Can not wait to move so I can be closer to this place.

Good coffee, nice couch area with a fireplace, and friendly staff. Stumptown is still my 5 star rating, but this is far better than Starbucks.
