Clark County Lawn and Tractor

I called the store at 4:45 and told them I was rushing to get there by 5 to buy a chain saw. I was told that I had 15 minutes so I had better hurry. I pulled in at 4:59 and the fires were locked. I asked the guy locking the gate if I could buy a chain saw. He said «well it is 5 o’clock on a Friday and the guys want to get home. I will ask if anyone is willing to help you». He went inside and within 30 seconds he came out and told me sorry they were closed. Small businesses wonder why they struggle. Lazy employees are the reason here. If I owned this store everyone there would be fired. They let a paying customer walk because they were lazy. The owner needs to realize that people coming into to buy are what keeps the doors open and these employees with jobs. I am driving to Amboy today to buy my chainsaw. I own 2 john Deere tractors and from now on all my purchases will be anywhere else.

Very frustrated with the service, wish you could write a review with no stars. Took in my Stihl weedeater to get a replacement part. After being told it would take 3 days for the part and now I’ve waited 3 weeks! After multiple calls to the store and lots of stories about the part not being shipped I was told that it was no longer available. Made a call to Stark Street and they had 2 on the shelf. Drove over and they took the time to install. Will make the drive and spend money there.

Misdiagnosed my JD S-​Series walk-​behind, told me it needed a new governor plate, when all it needed was a new carb kit ($ 20), kept it for two weeks while apparently quite busy doing the wrong things, and still had the gall to charge me for the diagnosis! I suspect they just wanted to sell me a new mower.

I was mislead into thinking CCLT gave 2 craps about their customers. Their sales reps lied to me. I finally got the truth about my rig from the GM. They ended buying my rig back from me because of all the lies.
Go elsewhere. CCLT will disappoint you.

This place has horrible service. The lady told us if it’s not a John Deere part go somewhere else they don’t have time to find parts for anything else. Very rude!
