Columbia Tattoo & Piercing

I had my nipples pierced today by Steven. I was little nervous because the last time I had it done it was a painful horrible experience. (not sure why I took them out). Steven is very professional quick and almost completely painless. He did a great job and I highly recommend him!

Just finished my family history tattoo with Steven… He is an AMAZING artist and everyone in the shop is really good and really cool and very professional through the whole process. I will recommend them to anyone who wants a tattoo!!! Very good price too!!!

Columbia Tattoo is a great place to get your tattoos. I received my first tatt from Omar which turned out great, there after I have gotten 8 more that I have had Steven do. Steven has also done tattoos for all 3 of my daughters. I felt very comfortable there and the guys are awesome. To let you all know this is an older building so it is not going to look like the Hilton, so if you are getting a Tattoo to brag about what it looks like inside then you won’t want to go there but if you are looking for great work than this is the place for you. So,. this so called lady, we will just call her Z, if it was that dirty why stay to get anything done or even want to go back? Also to Z the pics inside the room where they do the Tattoos are drawn up special for there clients, then they hang them to show the work they have done and perhaps someone would get some ideas from them. I know, because these guys have drawn up all 9 of mine and they are amazing .They do have the first room as you walk in, that does have your typical pictures hanging and on poster
give a person ideas that are not sure what they want. Walk ins welcome and they answer all calls, they may not always take messages because they could be in the middle of tattooing, but they will let you know when the person you are looking for will be in.

It’s a small shop, I feel the atmosphere could be a bit better. The staff was not overly friendly but they weren’t unfriendly either. It could have been because they were busy, which is a good sign. I wound up getting my tattoo here and it turned out great. The tattoo artist did great work and gave me a great price. I really enjoyed seeing the artists personal work on the walls as well.

I have had several friends go to Steven at Columbia Tattoo to get their work done. Every time has been a marvelous experience. I went with one of my friends to get her name tattooed on her foot (not a great place for a beginner), but Steven was very professional and did a great job. No one has had any issues or complications after his work, and everything healed well. If my sister wouldn’t kick my butt if I got a tattoo, I would definitely get it done by Steven. He also has a great tattoo and art portfolio. if you are looking for some original work on something you want done, I’m sure he would be happy to sketch something up for you.

I only went here as a favor to a friend of mine. Her friend Tasha Zuniga is an apprentice here and needed volunteers when she started working on actual people.
First of all, the shop is dirty. The floors were covered in grime and the ceiling fan directly above the chair I sat in while getting worked on had large swaths of dust and spider webs hanging from it. The place wasn’t sanitary, let alone sterile.
Second, rather than being the kind of professional shop that encourages individuality in body art, this one caters to sheep with no imagination. The walls are packed with panels full of the same flash you can find if you type «common boring tattoos» into Google. In fact there was a computer in the «waiting room» that offered almost that very service. But hey if you want to get a Kanji tramp stamp that you think says «Peace and Love» but actually says «Pork Fried Rice,» who am I to judge?
Lastly, regarding Tasha specifically. She’s a flake. No way to get ahold of her except email. I even tried calling the shop and the guy who answered said he couldn’t leave her a message. Our first sitting was 3 hours and all she did was the outline of a pretty simple piece that is smaller than the palm of my hand. I know students work slow, so I cut her some slack. But when I got called into work and had to reschedule our second session, when she was supposed to fix some lines that weren’t clean and do the shading, things went way south. One month and two emails later she still did not get back to me. She did, just today, post in a Facebook group dedicated to finding her volunteers. When I confronted her there, she banned me from the group. Yay for professionalism!
So, now I have the embarrassing task of going to my regular guy and asking him to fix Tasha’s lines and do her shading. But, at least I know his shop is clean.

Went to Columbia tattoo yesterday and had an awesome experience. Steve was very nice, did an AMAZING job, and was totally cool with us having my baby there. They have a nice big lobby where I was able to throw down a blanket and some toys to keep my baby entertained. Their prices are totally reasonable, and their work is all awesome. I will definitely be going back for any future tattoos and piercings!

Walked into this place about 7pm on a Saturday night with my mom who is looking to get her 1^st tattoo. There was 1 employee sitting in back. I assume he was a tattoo artist but unsure as he only said hi after I did. That was the extent of our conversation. My mom and I spent about 20 minutes looking around and never once did he get off his ass to see if there was an questions we had. Not how I’d run a business. We will do business with someone who wants it.

Could not be happier! Allan was amazing from start to finish. Gave me much, much more than I expected at a unexpectedly low price. Awestruck at the outcome for my first big piece — a Kwan Yin — but owe it all to Allan’s artistic styling. Everyone at the shop is friendly and the pics of past tattoos are incredible. I’ll definitely be back!

Amazing, I will never go anywhere else. Ten stars! Allan did a beautiful piece on my arm, and ankle. People stop me in public to ask who did my arm tattoo! Love this place!
