My son just got his braces off and his teeth look fantastic!
That is what our experience has been at Dr. Brown’s office. She is friendly and efficient. The staff is top notch and very kind and accommodating. There are 2 Vancouver offices as well.

I just brought my daughter to put on a bounded retainer yesterday (2-​19-​2015). I thought it was going to put 2 wires in one day for the quote $ 400. But it’s only for one and supposed to be for the lower teeth not the upper teeth. After the assistant put it on my daughter’ upper teeth, I saw Dr. Brown saw it and was talking to the assistant with a strange tone and facial expression. Later a staff (maybe supervisor) joint Dr. Brown having a conversation with lower voice having the finger pointing to the computer screen which I can not view for my angle. I was aware there must be something wrong, but when I ask Dr Brown she didn’t response to me directly.
Later, she said if I want to put both upper and lower wires I could. Before I walk out the office, I was asked to pay $ 800 for 2 sets (wire and clear retainer). So that means the original plan of $ 400 is only for one set.
I got home and did an on-​line research to find out that most case for kids is to put the bounded wire on the lower teeth. If put on upper part do get trouble for loosen glue and lower teeth damage for prolong of time. So the original plan is only for one set and is for the lower teeth.
I am disappointed that they didn’t tell me at first place when the mistake occurred, and just play along and ask if I want do both, then add it that actually the lower teeth does need one bounded wire as well to convince me I need to get 2^nd set for the lower teeth.
The staff are all friendly, but Dr. Brown seldom make clear communication on her treatment plan or explanation to the client and family. I called early this morning left them voicemail to tell them I do not want to order the 2^nd set for the lower teeth, and ask them to schedule appoint ASAP to remove the wire glued onto my daughter’s upper teeth.

I highly recommend Dr. Brown and her staff for orthodontics. Both my kids had braces, and the treatments and service were fantastic! We never had to wait long for appointments and Dr. Brown and staff were always friendly and professional.

Mediocrity at its best. All the staff is friendly, except Dr. Brown. I feel as though I’m an inconvenience when in the office. I do not recommend.
