If you want fast service and decent grub. This is the place. The front person is always friendly and helpful and your food is done in no time at all. I’ve only ever had the teriyaki chicken and its savory and tasty each time. If it isn’t broken why fix it?

Other Unilocalers have decried this restaurant’s inconsistent quality of food, but each member of our 8-person party had a great dinner tonight. The chicken teriyaki plate and bowls were yummy, «happy family» platter was delicious, shrimp and broccoli was fresh and tasty.

Ugh … If not for genuinely nice folks working at KC Teriyaki in Salmon Creek, this Asian-inspired fast food abbey would be just KC Teriyucky. Did you know, KC stands for Korean Christian? Me neither until I read a display in the restaurant. So, two stars for the duo of a friendly believer behind the counter and our savior. WWJO — What would Jesus order? My order was a Teriyaki Beef & Gyoza combo plate with White Rice and a small Side Salad for lunch. Forgive me father, for I’ve sinned because the Gyoza were horrible blights of dry damnation while the Beef was a sweet imitation of what Americans think Teriyaki tastes like. I wouldn’t order either again. Despite that icky initial meal, my wife is attempting to convert me into a believer of KC Teriyaki because a) she’s Asian and b) there just aren’t many Asianesque fast-food options near Mt. Vista. She’s bought KC Teriyaki takeout three times. So, apparently what she believes are acceptable flavors varies a great deal from my own faith. I don’t judge her tastes or KC’s religion, but I do judge the food at KC Teriyaki … 2 stars.

We have always received great service and friendly interaction from the staff working at the restaurant. The food is good. Sometimes the yakisoba is greasy, but it doesn’t stop us from coming back!

Great food and great customer service! They have free egg drop(flower) soup if you dine in! The Ckn Fried Rice is a side but I get it as a meal and it comes with a salad!

I don’t know why but the first thing I noticed was that this place was absolutely spotless. Hopefully, I don’t have pre-conceived notions about certain types of places running around inside my head. The second thing I noticed was a beautiful mural along one wall. I had the basic chicken combo, my wife had the basic veggie combo. Both came with a scoop of rice and side veggies. Of the two, the veggie was probably better in a less-salty way. Not that the chicken was over-salted. It was fine. By and large the food was typical but in the upper end of typical, if that makes any sense. I think we spent around 20 bucks. I don’t eat like this often these days but the next time I want Teriyaki, I’ll come here.

We are long standing customers of KC Teriyaki. It is frustrating that the food taste and quality is so random. We had simple chicken teriyaki bowls Saturday night and they tasted terrible. $ 20+ down the drain. It all depends on who is cooking when we eat here. I wish we could tell ahead of time if the«bad» cook is on or the«good» cook is on before we waste our money. In addition, the staff is usually helpful, but this time the lady was cold and we did not get our food prepared as we had asked.

The staff here is always nice and the food is great! I live about a mile from here so I eat at KC all the time. Also, seeing bible verses on whiteboards when I go in is awesome.

Great chicken yakisoba! Fresh and generous portions. Always have some left over for dinner. Family owned and operated. Obviously a part of the community with HS team jerseys and pictures throughout. Nice place.

Ordered the chicken katsu, spicy pork, shrimp yakisoba, Mongolian beef, tempura shrimp, and 4 cold, iced green teas with the family. And everything was simply great! I usually dread teriyaki because I feel sick after eating it since most joints give out food that’s so oily, fried, or over drenched in sauces. But this place utilizes just the right amount in their ingredients and their food is always fresh. Their food actually tastes like it’s home-cooked and authentic, and not like a fast food teriyaki place ran by white people(just bein’ real). The owner and employees are extremely friendly and genuinely kind. The place is very well decorated and has a welcoming feel to it. It’s also very well kept and clean! I never see a single mess. My parents go here regularly, and they love this place over all the other teriyaki places in Vancouver. The iced green teas are also great for a hot, summer day! Tastes like real green tea and not something artificial:)

The people here are so nice and helpful! Always timely service with a smile :) If you dine in, they have self-serve egg drop soup that is DELICIOUS! I normally order the yakudoba, with a side salad, total comes to just around $ 10 but it is so worth it($ 8 for the noodles and $ 2 for the salad) Their serving side for the noodles is HUGE so you definitely get your money’s worth! I normally share with a friend or date. and their side salad is not heavy, but light and delicious with this creamy salad dressing :) KC stands for Korean Christian and I just think it’s so cool that this is a family run, religious business – I am a regular customer here, never been dissatisfied with anything, food is delicious and service is definitely superior. And there’s a nail salon, Supercuts, and Fred Meyer right next to it if you have other things to do :)

I have only had the teriyaki chicken but it’s amazing! Also, the salad has the best dressing. I suggest you stop by for a quick lunch break.

Sorry but I think this place has really gone downhill. The teriyaki chicken was dry and the teriyaki sauce was horrible. The extra containers of sauce were black! Needless to say those got dumped right away! The fried prawns were also not good. I feel bad because the people running the place seem warm and friendly. It’s really too bad. Sorry but I have to say to stay away if you want decent chicken teriyaki.

Working up here in Salmon Creek for the week, I took a lunch break to see what I could find within 2-minute walking distance. My happy feet carried me to KC Teriyaki. It’s tough to write an elaborate review on what is a pretty typical Teriyaki joint, but suffice to say that this place has all the normal plates you’d expect to find, the cooking and overall flavor was good and the rice was nicely steamed. Oddly, instead of the typical steamed cabbage, my teriyaki chicken came with a side(iceberg) salad. It was okay, nothing to write home about. In all, the place is good. It’s very typical, nothing really stood out as special about their food, but if you want to get some quick chicken and rice, it’s a decent place to hop through.

Chadams stepped into KC Teriyaki outfitted in sunglasses, neatly pressed Tommy Bahama shirt, and his most comfy OluKai Hiapo Flip Flops flossin hard as usual as he checks his Chronographe Evolution 1 by Frederic Jouvenot out of sheer curiosity to check the time for Chadams moves slow. Slow so the world can see the beauty that is Chadams in the form of a visage kissed with peppered sunlight! Chadams had high hopes for a place named KC Teriyaki. Chadams loves him some Teriyaki like he loves his frequent trips to the Caymans to check his phat bank accounts, but alas KC Teriyaki proved standard as the other fast food joints riddled throughout Vancouver. Chadams had thoughts that he should have just checked out the local Del Taco instead. The chicken was ok at best; like trying to settle for an old pair of Feragamo Barbados Driving Moccasins well they are actually loafers, but Chadams uses them when cruising around town… top down of course for everyone to admire the beauty that is Chadams. The sauce wasn’t much better! The only somewhat saving grace was the rice, but now-a-days it is pretty hard to mess up rice. A quick call to Masaharu Morimoto to warn him of the epic battle that occurred in Chadams’ mouth and it was back to the mansion to see the ever beautiful Mrs. Chadams(think Helen of Troy, but way more beautiful) and Baby Chadams(da boss!) #meh #movingon #overpriced

It makes me sad to read some of the negative reviews, as I absolutely LOVE this place. This is the best Tofu Yakisoba I’ve had in my entire life, and I eat it on a regular basis now. They don’t even have Tofu Yakisoba on the menu, but I asked and the owner said he could make it for me, no problem. He even put extra tofu! Their tofu is absolutely amazing, and my mouth is watering as I write about it. I must admit, I’ve only tried this one dish, as it is SOGOOD that I’ve never wanted to explore the menu. I’ve heard from friends that the chicken teriyaki is average, while the pork teriyaki and the crab puffs are pretty delectable. One friend said the chicken katsu was good. I tried my buddy’s fried rice and it was pretty great, too, with tons of different veggies in it. The eggrolls are pretty tasty as well, and the portions are pretty huge. The owner is usually there when I go and is super friendly. He knew my name after only a few visits. If you’re looking for some amazing yakisoba, absolutely visit this place!
