Pines Coffee

I met the owner one day. Incredibly helpful with the task I happened to be on that day, kind, and made great coffee. They make the classics but I usually go for one of their unique, Pacific Northwest inspired drinks. Small, unique, and expanding business you can feel good about supporting.

Don’t judge a book by its cover, or in this shop’s case, don’t judge the coffee by its coffee stand. This place is awesome!!! Can easily see why it has a 5-​star rating. Easy to drive up to, very friendly staff, intriguing flavors and super solid coffee/​espresso. We had the Honey Vanilla latte and can’t wait to try the other flavors.

Super friendly and accommodating! Great drinks, too… Try the Lumberjack with maple syrup! Also, sign up for their frequent buyer program and get coupons! I highly recommend… Just wish they had longer hours and had a sit-​down area.

This place is super unique in many ways, and I have been coming here on occasion since they opened. While their menu is eccentric with floral flavors like lavender and rose! Their espresso doesn’t quite have a flavor that I consistently enjoy. With that said, it’s never once tasted burnt, and I encourage everyone to try it.
I’m super in love with their teas and with their branding. They have done a phenomenal job with making themselves a staple to the Pacific Northwestern attitude!

This place is such a good hole in the wall! They have such unique and interesting flavors. The baristas are always nice and my drinks are always right. Excellent lattes and the only negatives I have are the fact that it can be slow and that they don’t have an actual shop-​just the drive through!

I go to Dutch bros fairly often, but this place blows Dutch bros out of the water. They use organic coffee beans and give rewards points very generously! Swing by and get some coffee the staff is always friendly!

Best coffee drive thru in town! A 4 minute drive from my house, making this my favorite spot!

I’d like to give Pines another shot as I don’t think I ordered correctly. I loved my husband’s drink — he got something with pine in it. They have a ton of milk alternatives and the service is incredibly friendly. Cannot wait to come back and try something new. This place is really cute with innovative drink offerings I’ve never seen!

Being from Berlin and spoiled when it comes to good coffee: THIS IS THE BEST COFFEE I’VE EVER HAD.
I’m honestly sad about having to go back home because of you guys! Super friendly and happy people working there. Amazing taste. Great homemade almond and cashew coconut milk (no additional charge!). Great Prices.
Black Alder was my favorite! Amazing flavor with the orange twist & I don’t even usually like Orange mixed in with anything, so great job!
Moss & Oak was great too, the honey & salt go together so well! The Blackberry Matcha top!

This place is awesome. By far the best coffee I’ve ever had. I’ve tried a few of their flavored coffee drinks and the black alder is my favorite… orange and dark chocolate. The moss + oak is very good too. I’ve also had a plain latte with almond milk and the flavor of their coffee is amazing… anytime I find a place where I don’t need to add any sweetener to the coffee gets an A from me… it means their actual coffee is on point and tasty by itself. The baristas know what they are doing and don’t burn the coffee. They are always nice, efficient, and happy to see me. Seriously an amazing hidden gem in a coffee stand. I cannot wait until the shop opens but until then I’ll be at mill plain and grand!

Firstly, the lady who took my order was super sweet! It was my first time here and she helped make it a great experience. I got an iced White Pine and I’m purely satisfied. I have to admit it is 100% better than Starbucks, which was my usual go to coffee place. Pshhh. Starbucks who?!! Hello Pines Coffee I’ll be back even though it’s a 20min drive from home. well worth it!

Just stopped at Pines for a cup of coffee after reading all the amazing reviews. I asked the sweet girl in the window what was most popular and what her favorite was. She recommended the lodgepine latte. She said its either a love it if hate it kinda drink. It’s orange and pine needle flavor. I got it with their house made coconut cashew milk. So tasty and refreshing and the service is great! If I lived in the area id definitely be back.

This place rocks my coffee world! I’ve never been to a coffee shop where literally every combination looks delightful. …AND IS! I’ve had most of the signature coffee drinks, and I’m hooked! Where else can you get a cardamom rose latte?! In LOVE! I can’t wait for the brick and mortar to open in a few days!!!

Go, go, go, go… and all the people say, go! Small drive thru spot that had bout 4 folks in it working. Nice, smiling, bubbly personalities that really do like their job. Asked me what I usually like in a coffee and gave recommendations. Went with an Iced Moss & Oak. Dark Chocolate, Salt mix among the infusion of flavors in this drink! If you live for adventure and discovering, check ‘em out. Pines is like the Salt N Straw of coffee! Unique combos of teas as well. I would say more but «Go“was truly enuff. Oh, if you don’t believe, taste for your own DAWG-​ON self. There!

They hand-​craft their almond AND coconut cashew milk in-​house.
They make their own syrups.
They have extremely sophisticated drink flavor profiles, such as cardamon rose, lavender honey, and ginger dark chocolate.
The service is great.

I got «The Woodsman,» 8 oz. Ginger and dark chocolate makes this one and it is delicious.
I’m going to try the cardamon rose next.

Quality coffee, friendly staff, unique selection, creative menu! This place over any Starbucks or Dutch bros any day. If you have to drive a few miles out of your way in order to get this in the morning, it’s worth it!
Favorites: honey lavender, vanilla rose, and white pine. (I’m a portlander).

PINES IS FANTASTIC! I stumbled upon this gem while in the area and I didn’t realize it’d be a little drive through. Cute and QUALITY coffee and teas. I took one look at this menu and wanted to try them all their beverages. They’re right next to a cemetery — which usually would be eerie for me, but I find it somewhat cool actually.
WHY THEY ROCK:
— Syrups are handmade
— Uniquely flavored mochas — cardamom, ginger, lavender, pine needles?!
— They use real pumpkin, fresh ginger
— They don’t charge for milk alternatives (coconut cashew, almond, soy, etc.) THIS IS THE BEST. Why do most places charge people for having milk intolerances?!
— They have MATCHA
— Steven Smith Tea
— Ryan is awesome– super nice and very helpful in answering questions.

Pines reached out to me over Instagram to come check them out and I’m soooo glad I did! Best matcha latte I’ve ever had in my life. Blackberry in it? Even better.
They were so fast! And only a 5 minute drive from my work. I’m so excited to have found a drive up coffee place that is near work and makes delicious coffee. I have been searching high and low for a place to frequent and I’m definitely going to be coming back!

I made it to one of their little stands on a break from classes, and now I make it a part of my routine!
I’m in love with the northwest pride you get at this little shop, and the names of the drinks assist with that!
I just get my normal Americano and add a flavor– but I was stopped in my tracks when I realized how different every one of their flavors is. They have one thats pine needle and orange, another that is rose and cardamom, you get the point.
They make their own Spiced Pumpkin flavor and a Brown Sugar something.
But the Grizzly Bear… Maple Bacon! WHAT?! Yep! You can flavor your coffee/​anything with Maple Bacon. That is so awesome/​terrifying hahaha.
I was too much of a chicken to try it, but someone please do it and tell me! (They might not have it anymore).
Their pricing is a little up there, but you get what you pay for 110%.
I can’t forget to mention how awesome they are every time I go through. Some of the best customer service I’ve ever had!
