I have had many articles of clothing altered over the years, some straightforward, others quite complicated. Without a doubt, Alla Tishchenko is one of the best. I started with one suit coat, as another seamstress virtually ruined an Armani jacket of mine. After some weight loss, I had about 20 suit and sport coats and pants that needed altering.
Her fitting was perfect, and the outcome was in effect, a brand new suit. Since then, I have entrusted her to a collection of Canali, Gucci, Zena, Prada, and Kiton, as well as some of my wife’s pants. Her price point was far below what I had been accustomed to paying, and again, the outcome for every jacket, pair of pants, and shirt, was absolutely impeccable. The customer service was fantastic, and when I needed a minor adjustment to one of the alterations, she did it without any questions, and it was ready the next day.
I have read some of the other reviews. I am not sure what people’s expectations are, in terms of turnaround time, as they are as timely, if not faster than most high end tailors, and Alla’s work, attention to detail, and care, particularly in the higher end clothing, has made me to come to truly appreciate and value everything she is done to save my wardrobe.

Review of tailoring services only. Haven’t used dry cleaning. Alla Tishchenko is FABULOUS. I bought some fabric in Hawaii and started a king sized bedspread. It was just too large for me to work with even on my ping pong table AND I couldn’t figure out how to match the pattern. She matched beautifully and hemmed around edges and it turned out great. Couldn’t find what I wanted online so decided to make my own (HA HA with a lot of help from Alla). A bit pricey but well worth it for the finished product. I’ve taken several things to her and always super satisfied!

Great customer service! Fabulous work! Get the job done just as promised! The best place to go around town!

Don’t recommend this place. Tried it once and will not go back. Expensive and they did not do what they promised.
