Sun Kiss Tanning

WORST PLACE EVER. ZERO STARS… This place is the absolute worst tanning salon that exists. I have had so many problems with them since the beginning and now they’ve gone out of business. I swear they have been taking off my tans and tried making it seem like I was tanning. I write down every time I tan– they stole more than 10 tans from me. My boyfriend and I had a package together and the last time he went in there the girl working said we were out of tans (NO WAY THATS POSSIBLE) so he bought a new package for $ 200 because he didn’t have time to deal with their bullshit & was going out of town. And now all of the sudden those scumbags packed up their shit and they left. They stole our money! Not only ours but my sister’s too. That’s a whole other story. Anyway, now they’re closed down and have stolen our money & I have to spend my time dealing with the business bureau. Irina and Alex (owners) are lying p.o.s, and I hope they’re reading this so I could say F*** ***. Even when this place was open they had the worst customer service EVER.

This place is always closed now when they should be open. I am very irritated when I have to make multiple trips a day to the salon just to get a tan. I’ve been going here for 2 ½ years now and have been happy up until recently. I’m definitely not investing any more money here now. Business has been terrible. When I call the other locations to ask why they’re not open I don’t even get an apology for all the inconvenience they’ve been giving me the past couple weeks.

I’ve been going to tanning salons off and on for the last eight years, and this salon is the worst I’ve ever used. The only employee working at this location barely knew anything about how the tanning beds she was operating. This employee kept trying to sell me on paying extra for using a high pressure bed after I had already purchased the package I wanted. What really irritated me though was the terrible hours. When I initially went there they were open until 8pm but about a week later they changed it to 7pm. If that wasn’t bad enough, there were days where nobody showed up to open the salon. I was told the hours would roll back to staying open later but I won’t hold my breath. I can’t get a refund but I hope you read my review and go somewhere else if you’re considering using a tanning salon.

Came in from out of state on vacation. Friendly sweet girl up front. Super helpful. I had a groupon for a mystic and she explained if I went into the bed first it would turn out way better. She was right! Gave me a sweet deal too. If I didn’t live like 12 hrs away I’d be a regular.

I absolutely love the beds. I stay tan for wks even after I take a few wks off after my packages expire. Irina the owner is very nice and understanding. I would def recommend this place!

Well, I moved here 2 years ago. I work at the hospital and am from Texas. I am used to having a tan all the time and got ghostly white once I moved up here… To me, I looked like I was sick or something, all pale. I asked people at the hospital where to tan and I was told by one of my trainers to go to Sun Kissed Tan, and not to even look further if I wanted the best price in town. I did want that, so I went there, and it isn’t far from downtown Vanc where I live. Not in an upscale strip mall but when i got inside there were multiple tanning rooms, several different styles of beds, a couple of them look like the star ship «enterprise» and very low priced packages. I had seen tan place after tan place close in Texas, and before my package ran out, and I had always lost my money. But this place has been here for years and is well established. The owners are in and out often if not there daily, they are very nice and learned and called me by my first name right away. The place is very clean, always! There is a little boutique area behind the cashier greeting station with oils, and preps, and things… they even do the spray tanning thing there… not my thing, but the girls seem to like it and they are all cocoa bean looking from one time it seems to me. Anyway, nice people, very fair to low prices, longevity, easy to get to, and a grocery store right next door that never seems to be too crowded, so I go there to get a couple of things just to make the trip count even more!
