It won’t allow me to give 0 stars that’s the only reason I gave 1… Do not go here!!! Do not sign a contract they will not let you cancel it. If you stop paying they will send it to collections and still charge you. This place is a joke. Their staff wears pajamas and they don’t know how to turn off the alarm system on the building. They also don’t know how to operate the beds and half of them don’t even have stereos!!! It’s a waste of money and time. The manager Zac is rude and will just say «sorry there’s nothing I can do». Very sad

I would give them a zero star rating if it were an option. The service is sub part at best. The staff changes every time I go in, their sales staff has inconsistent information, and the cleanliness is questionable. Not to mention the contracts are a joke. They will continue to charge you even after your contract has ended. Getting a refund for an error on their part is almost impossible.

The only reason I gave this tanning salon one star is because I had no option to give it a zero. My boyfriend and I went in for a spray tan, the woman had no clue what she was doing.
First, she told him the machine would talk to him with directions. It gave no instruction (hence he is orange). There were no voice instructions on how to turn or position your body. If you are somebody who spray tans, you understand how important it is not to have your palms facing the spray!
Secondly, there were no pictures about how to apply the lotion that is used in a spray tans.
Lastly, the woman that was in charge of the salon had no clue how the machines functioned. Just how to turn them on. When I asked about training. She stated that they just throw you in here when you get hired.
I have been spray tanning for over 10 years. To say it was a Horrible experience is an understatement. Complete incompetence sums it up. The owner should reevaluate her training and equipment. I will never go back to tan republic again. There are many other tanning facilities available, choose them.

I don’t tan very often but I was going on a trip and knew I needed a base tan. Carly was absolutely amazing and got me set up with the diamond beds as well as a great lotion. I was extremely happy with my purchase and the end results.

So I seriously considered staying on a month to month contract with this place, yeah a little more pricy but this girl who is a complete wicked mean person makes me NOT want to come here anymore. I just finished my last session here and I tried to be nice and say hey good luck, it was nice meeting you and she was a complete bitch! Thank Tan Republic, you can thank the girl who was working Sunday may 24^th, for me NOT renewing on a month to month. I came in the other day to renew on a month to month and she was the one who was working… She didn’t try to retain my business, and again was a bitch. Sorry normally I am not so mean with the language, but good god if you don’t want to work there DON’T! Peace out Tan Republic! Most all your other staff is amazing, but it only takes ONE to lose a customer!

All tan republics are rediculous and over priced. I regrettably signed a one year contract. Then tried to cancel it and couldn’t. My one year is now up and they STILL charged me because I didn’t give them a 30 day cancellation notice. I signed up for a year! No more than that. I will never use this place again and haven’t for the past 6 months.

Do not use this place ever.
A TANNING BED FELL ON TOP OF ME. Couple that with terrible customer service and I wanted to cancel my membership.
Zack, the supposed «Guest Relations Manager» refuses to cancel my membership and yelled at me today for 10 minutes right before he HUNG UP ON ME.
Worst service EVER!
Do not ever go here! They are shady and terrible.
I have submitted a formal complaint to the Oregon Department of Justice Consumer Complaints and am going to submit one with the Better Business Bureau, though TR is not BBB accredited (wonder why?)

Do not for any reason sign a contract with these people. They are shady and if you don’t believe it look them up on Better Business Bureau. They have an F rating and for good reason! I had signed a contract with them for tanning and boy do I regret that. It has been a never ending headache. Do your research and find somewhere else to go.
