EVERYSINGLE whiskey, rye or bourbon is local. 28 beer taps. All local. Live music. This place is AWESOME. Ask Savanna for her recommendation when ordering.

I dig this place a lot. The taps are among the best in Vancouver. Brickhouse used to be my go to place but the selections aren’t what they used to be. Thirsty Sasquatch has filled that void. The bar has good, dim lighting and is relaxing. The bartenders are all pretty mellow in my experience and have good recommendations. The patio is really nice too. It’s enclosed and covered in parts. As far as food goes, you can order from the mexican food place next door or the pizza place across the street and they’ll bring it to you. Both places are delicious so it’s not a bad option overall even if you want something to eat with your drinks.

I usually do not like whisky, but the blends here are delicious. Fun to be in a little local hangout in Uptown Village. The owners, Sharon and Jeremy are very nice. Clean. Friendly. Close to my business so I can walk up up the street for dinner after work. I order good from Sabor and they deliver it to my table. Great service

Pretty much a go-to spot for meeting friends! Most of all of us live in the neighborhood and on a Friday or Saturday evening, this is our spot! Very friendly staff(shout out to the tall guy with glasses and the cool native shirts!!), always willing to sample a few beers or ciders until you find your perfect match. The vibe is warm, filled with chatter, and comfortable. I also really like the differing drink sizes, it’s fun to try small sizes of different libations. I’ve just been venturing out to their back patio, which is filled with warm heaters during these rainy months. It’s a clean establishment; clean tables, clean windows, clean restroom and door handles(I appreciate that). I also appreciate the live, local music that happens from time to time. I’ll continue to frequent Sasquatch and so happy that they’re in the neighborhood! Dog friendly, too.

Pros: Really a great spot to have a drink. Top notch beer selection, and good spirits if you’re into that. Staff and owners are friendly and always eager to let you taste a beer before you buy it. Proper beer glassware(tapered pint glasses and tulip/snifters) is another plus for beer geeks. They allow outside food which is to be expected since they have no kitchen. Nice little patio out back and lovely bar seating. Cons: The benches, which make up about half of the indoor seating, while cool looking are horribly uncomfortable. Grab a stool or chair if possible. Can get a bit crowded but that is to be expected since it’s a good place.

Great beer! Cool atmosphere. Too loud(bad acoustics). They need to post their hours on the door. Frustrating to guess when the taps are flowing.

Cute new place near Tip Top Tavern. They have Whiskey, wine, beer, ciders and vodka. You can’t go wrong. I had a Moscow mule and it was yummy. You can order in from the Mexican food place next door(street tacos and such) or you can order from Vancouver Pizza Company, which is what we did. It was fast and delicious. Love that new places like this are joining the Vancouver scene. It is must needed.

Myself and my girlfriend are new to the area and we were really hoping to find a place like the Thirsty Sasquatch. The environment is comfortable, clean, and the bartender was friendly and conversational. Drink selection seems ample and reasonably priced! Atmospherically the place feels a little«sterile» but that’s mostly due to lighting and being new — more character will surely seep in as the bar ages. We’ll definitely be returning.

I’m excited to have this place close by but it’s too expensive. I can’t afford to make it a regular spot and that bums me out. Beers are $ 2 more than the average place. Hoping some feedback from others will help them to lower their prices slightly.

This place is an awesome addition to Main St. I like the beer and cider selection on tap. I recommend mixing ciders together. My only complaint is they don’t have any soft drinks. I like my whisky but I need a coke back. No mixed whisky drinks or chasers at this bar. Also it’s nice that you can order food from neighboring restaurants. Just make sure you get there early as there aren’t a lot of tables.

This is not Portland… Very casual and nice Vancouver bar that specializes in local spirits and beer. I tried a Marionberry vodka on the rock and the others enjoyed whiskey. Woodsy, warm, casual, friendly, and a welcome addition to Vancouver’s growing food scene. Note that no mixers are offered so drink it neat, on a(one) rock, or in a pint. No food is sold here, but you won’t go hungry. The local restaurants deliver!!! Menus are provided and they come over and are happy to serve. Brilliant concept. There’s no happy hour, but every hour is a happy hour here. Two tv’s playing sports, music, and a nice crowd tonight. Not sure they have a/c. Bit warm tonight, but the drinks are cold.

I’m not really a whiskey drinker but some friends wanted to meet up here and I’m glad I got to check it out! I started out with a cider and it’s hard to go wrong with that. The real winner here though is the raspberry vodka. It’s so decadent that it’s easy to forget you’re getting liquored up. Even if you’re like me and not a whiskey fan, there’s plenty of other good stuff. They also have an array of board games to keep your group busy while you wait on your pizza to come across the street! They don’t serve food here but it’s downtown… Like every place around there will deliver right to the bar, and they have menus for you there!

I’ve been here a few times now and I really enjoy this place. The owners are really nice and helpful when deciding on a beer or whiskey. The atmosphere is inviting and warm. All reclaimed wood walls whether newer 2 by lumber or salvaged all of the wood is reused and created a cool 3d effect. No food but you can order food from several local eateries nearby. My favorite is the tacos from Sabor next door. Ok on to the drinks! The giant clear ice cube you get with a whiskey on the rock is awesome. Keeps it cold without watering it down. Beer selection is pretty impressive with many different beers you don’t see everywhere plus plenty of locals to keep it representin. Overall, fun place with good atmosphere and good drinks. They just poured a patio out back which should be full this summer!

I am so happy that we now have a proper Whiskey bar in Uptown Village. I stopped in for their first Friday night in business and between the whiskey, staff, live band, and neighbors it was a great evening. I stuck to the Marionberry Whiskey from Eastside Distillery, but we also tried a local raspberry vodka that is dangerously delicious. They offer ¾ oz. and 1 ½ oz. pours which is more than enough since they don’t currently have a food program; be sure to keep that in mind before ordering a second or third round. The night I went their pourers were still training up and I ended up with a very heavy pour on my third round and it kind of did me in. But I won’t hold that against them. They are now holding a meet the distillers/brewers series on Wednesday nights that I can’t wait to check out and a patio in the back is coming just in time for summer. Welcome to Vancouver Sasquatch!

This place is exactly what uptown Vancouver needed. No more going to Portland for good times.
