It is with great pain and sadness that I share our experience with James and Wound for Sound A/V. We hired him to do a custom sound and video system install in our home when he was first getting his license last year and had no other customers. Ours was a fairly large project that we agreed to do in phases. He quoted us a price on the final phase of the work before Thanksgiving, then we got moved out due to scheduling conflicts and the holidays. To date, we have spent thousands of dollars in his labor and all the parts we needed — yet we have only two of 34 speakers functioning in our home(and they are in the basement). TODAY, he calls us and tells us that his rates to finish the work have now almost doubled… if honoring one’s commitment, quality and integrity are important to you, please think twice before proceeding.
