American Vintage

I was in downtown Ventura browsing when I ran across American Vintage.
I am not a huge vintage fan but I can appreciate when something is vintage because items aren’t made like they used to be.
They had a large inventory of items.
They had a chinchilla wrap that was nice. Reasonably priced I thought for chinchilla.
I didn’t purchase anything but if your I to vintage you might find something.

Great store, I love coming in here to find cool vintage finds. The staff was very friendly and there are so many things in here to look at.

I love American vintage. It’s so adorable and perfect all around. It’s the kind of store you could get lost in for hours. Also being on Main Street makes it a desirable shop to stop by after brunch etc.
The store is much much bigger then I expected. While it’s narrow it’s collected with plenty of items, down the middle, rows to the side, and like I said it goes on and on and on I could get lost here for hours. Being an antique shop it has everything and anything, new, old, big, small, I think if you don’t mind «used» goods this place has something for someone. Pricing seemed decent. It’s more of how bad do you want the thing then anything being over priced.
I had been eyeing a silver garnet ring in the front counter for a few weeks. Lucky for me when I returned it was still there and in my size, who would have guessed it…$ 40 later I left with a Beautiful ring that I will have for life, also did appear to have been worn or used, for $ 40 id say it was a steal.
Service: friendly. Not pushy by any means which I appreciated because it gave me the chance to look around without feeling like people were watching me. But when I did need assistance I was easily able to get the attend of one of the ladies at the register to help me. She was lovely and patient while I tried on two different rings over and over trying to make my pick.
I’d highly recommend this antique shop, you never know what kind of gem you’ll find hiding away.

Cool stuff. Great for a quick stop in for vintage items. Didn’t see what i wanted but there was stuff there for people who were into vintage things.
