I am in love with my new hair and have received so many compliments already! I called in as a new client and the receptionist set me up with Camden. I told her the style cut I wanted and that I want to go back to being more blonde and it turned out amazing. The salon itself is very cute and extremely clean, and the prices are very fair!

Val is great. I usually ask for suggestions on what to do with my hair and other stylists don’t seem to want to give an opinion. Val explained what I needed to do to get the look I wanted. Finally someone listened to what I was asking. She takes her time and really knows her stuff.

The owner Leslie Rutherford has been my stylist for 10 years. She does the best color and cut in Ventura County! I will go to Crush for the rest of my life I love it so much. I refer them to everyone I know, everyone always asks where I get my hair done.
The girls in the salon are great too. Always friendly and helpful. Crush is located right on Main St making it easy to access from Ojai and Ventura.

Leslie is an INCREDIBLE hairdresser. I’ve been going to her for over 5 years and I never leave disappointed. I always get exactly what I want and the color I want, and she doesn’t damage my hair. Some hairdressers will compromise the health of your hair in order to get you a color you want. Leslie will make 100% sure that your hair is not damaged while she colors you. Also her cuts are always really cute and she never cuts off too much. I’m trying to grow my hair out and whenever she trims it, she only takes off what needs to go. I’ve gone to hairdressers who will get distracted and end up hacking 5 inches off and I leave absolutely devastated lol. I honestly will never go to another hairdresser. I’ve tried others here and there and I’m never as happy. I live in LA and drive all the way to Ventura to get my hair done because I know the drive is completely worth it. There are a ton of hairdressers in LA and Leslie is still lightyears better than all of them. In addition to her talent, she is such a great person with the biggest heart. Our conversations are always really great. And the salon is absolutely adorable. They have mimosas! ;) highly recommend!

CAMMI ROCKS IT LIKE NO OTHER! Like most (or ALL) of her clients she had before relocating, I am suffering from separation anxiety on SO many levels! Listen up, I am one picky client and I fell in love with her instantly. With almost no direction, she can improve what you have, change your direction in any way you like, or maintain your look with ease. I need to preface this — - I normally don’t post a lot of Unilocal reviews, and I’ve been to MANY stylists over the past 30 + yrs. With that said…
Camden is the BEST stylist EVER!!! She’s an expert at color and style, and the extra bonus is she’s an absolute delight to visit with for whatever time you’re lucky enough to be in her chair. I’ve referred friends to her and they have been as impressed as I am~ If you’re in the area and need a GREAT stylist (and one of the best humans I know!!) schedule an appointment with her– you won’t regret it!

CAMDEN, CAMDEN, CAMDEN! Some people are found their calling in life and Cammie is one of them! I have had many hairdressers in my lifetime while searching for «the one» that can work their magic, understanding my undescriptive, descriptions of what exactly I want done. She is truly the best!!!

While I have never been to this salon, I do know Camden very well. She is super sweet. Very talented. She listens and does what you want. She is an awesome stylist and I highly recommend her. I am a stylist myself so I know;)

LOVE Crush Salon & Dry Bar! My hair stylist Kandiz is absolutely amazing. Great conversations, and more importantly fantastic hair cuts! The salon is so cute, always so clean and professional. All of the staff make you feel comfortable and welcomed. So happy for all the staff & the owner Leslie for having this salon. I hope it has a long happy lifespan there!

I was visiting some friends in Ventura and Google mapped dry bars, then checked Unilocal and called to book an appointment. The owner Leslie came in on her day off to do my hair. Now THAT is service! The salon is adorable, my hair looked amazing, and Leslie and I had the best conversation!

Ive been to crush twice, once for a trim and another for color. I was very wary of having someone else trim my hair… i had been growing it out for a year after shaving my head and i didnt want any length taken and i have had bad experiences with stylists not listening and getting scissor happy. Not veronica. She listened to exactly what i said and only dusted the ends and made everything look cleaner not shorter. I came back another time for color… my hair has been black for the better part of 10 years and i tried to strip it brown myself but it was left with black splotches everywhere. Veronica weaved bleach through my hair and listened to the fact that i was concerned with damage. Even as the first instalation in the process all the blotches were broken up and my hair became much lighter than i thought it couls get with no brassiness. Plus there was almost no damage. My hair feels better than before i did it. I will always go back to veronica for all my hair needs. I definately reccomend her to anyone who gets nervous going to salons.

When it comes to my hair, only people I trust get to touch it. Leslie and her stylists are
part of the few people that I let do that. If you don’t want disappointment, this is the place to go! Every experience I have had here has been beyond amazing ! The salon itself, and the amazing atmosphere is beyond welcoming and sure to make you feel at home. Wouldn’t trade this salon for anything !!

I have been a client of Leslie’s for over. 5 years. I have very thick and somewhat wavy hair/​she always knows how to cut and texturize it. As a colorist, she is the best. Just the perfect amount of subtle highlights. I highly recommend Crush Salon and Dry Bar. I never leave disappointed… Friendly staff, expert services, reasonable prices and a bright and fresh ambiance.

Both my husband and I got great haircuts by Veronica today — it was my first time at this salon and I walked in because the salon is beautiful and I loved Veronica’s hair so I made an appointment. She was really good at listening to what I wanted and delivering — I have kind of a complicated hair style and she made it look really good. I brought my husband back and she gave his hair the best cut it’s had in 10 years! Will definitely be back and recommend it to family and friends in the area — thanks again Veronica!

Love love love Crush Salon and Blow Dry Bar. The atmosphere is very modern, it feels very crisp and clean in the salon. The girls here really know what they are doing! Especially Kandiz who is my go to girl! The owner Leslie and other girls also seem so organized and friendly. Crush has a very welcoming environment. The blow dry bar is really neat too. There are days where blow drying my hair feels like SUCH a chore, so I let crush do the chore for me. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my «me» time :)

Crush is the perfect salon! All of the hairstylists are amazing, especially Kandiz who has been doing my hair for many years. This new salon is modern, clean, well organized and gives you a very refreshed feeling. It’s location is prime, and the dry bar is an added bonus. This is the perfect place for quality treatment.
