Desserts To Die For

I cannot recommend Deb more! We used Desserts to Die For in lieu of a cake at our Halloween wedding. Deb was incredibly nice and professional. The actual desserts were AMAZING — we had so many compliments.
Deb also had special signs made up for our wedding — such a nice surprise!
Please consider Desserts to Die For for any event you are hosting. It is fantastic.

I was waiting outside Beacon Coffee in Ventura when I saw a hearse pull up. I watched a short haired blonde girl as she exited and headed to the rear of the hearse. She pulled out boxed pastries and it was then that I realized that she was making a delivery. The side of her delivery is stenciled with «Desserts to Die For». I did a search and read a bit about her business. I frequent Beacon coffee and had stared through the glass at the wonderful desserts. Although I had not tried any of them they looked wonderful.
The next week I was at the Sat Ventura Farmer’s Mkt. off of Palm when I once again saw the delivery car with Deb selling her yummy delights. I bought a slice of her lemon tart which she had made with limes on that day. I must say it was a flavor that took me back to my childhood as my mother baked lemon meringue pies. It had been many years since I enjoyed a lemon/​lime dessert that rivaled my Mother’s. I was very pleased with the balance of flavors. Tart lime against the powdered sugar topping and a perfect crust. Her prices are very reasonable and once you sample a dessert you will see that they are worth every penny. I am not sure if she is at the Farmer’s Mkt. every week.
Last week I asked about placing an order which she filled for me. As far as I know she does not have a store but does deliver to local businesses. I just picked up an entire lime tart that I will share with my friends at a Halloween gathering. I plan on ordering another tasty treat to take to my next party. Deb is a warm, easy going person and she definitely is a terrific baker. Thanks Deb!

Had their chocolate cake and berry pie at the food truck event in Ventura last Friday… I was shocked at how good it was. The chocolate melted in my mouth. I need like a whole one of those cakes.

Would be most helpful if you put somewhere that this place is a house in a residential neighborhood. I drove pretty far to be disappointed that this was not a business but someone’s home.

I hired Desserts to Die For for my clients 50^th Birthday Diabolical Bash. First, of course, all the guests loved the hearse!
Deb brought a tart, Nutella cookies, killer brownies, and raspberry and strawberry «cheesecaksters». Those cheesecake bites were literally «to die for»!! I can’t personally attest for the other desserts as I stuffed my face with tons of cheesecake but I know the guests enjoyed them greatly!
I’m sure you’ve heard many great things about Deb’s desserts but not many people mentioned how easy it was to work with her and understand her price points for a large event. When planning events with several vendors, people tend to forget things or not get back to you but Deb responded immediately. She helped me to make the dessert option decisions and gave me a clear understanding of the cost breakdown.

Deb delivered a most delicious berry tart for my birthday with beautiful presentation! Her delivery car is hysterical it“s a hearse so dang cute! Deb makes the best lemon dessert I have ever had the pleasure to put in my mouth. Meyer Lemon Tart, people! Insane. It tastes more like lemon than lemon does. Seriously, you should squeeze one to make your lemonade.
Aside from this light, heavenly taste of citrus sunshine, Deb makes chocolate brownies that are soft and chocolaty but not over the top. They’re the stuff. She has not let us down! When you see her hearse, don’t be scared by impending doom, just belly up and ask for a tart. You won’t be sorry.

Got to taste their desserts at dolphinpalooza at CSU Channel Islands and they were so delicious! I bought some to take home to have my parents try and usually they are huge critics when it comes to desserts but even they enjoyed them!
