Basically it was like eating a crap ton of toppings on a paper towel. It was the most soggy, mushy pizza I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve never seen anything like it, it was awful.

My favorite pizza on the entire west coast. I wish they delivered as I have since move to Portland, Oregon and miss Jimmy’s Slice. Excellent super-thin crust choices in the pizza-by-the-slice showcase. I can no longer just drive down and get pizza here but I do remember, and out of all of the others, this place is my favorite!

Great cook. great delivery girl! no delivery charge, so please throw her a couple bucks! Italy/Brooklyn style foldable Pizza. DELICIOUS! Will not order from anywhere else! So happy to have a real pizza place in town. It’s a relief to get a mouthful of toppings and a little crust instead of the other way around. They make pizza the way pizza should be made.

They treat you like your drunk even when your not. As long as there’s drunks they’ll keep on serving below than average pizza

great slice and a beer. Staff is knowledgeable About the beers. Pizza is good. I like the slices but don’t fool yourself and just get the whole pie. It’s really good the next day.

VERYGOODPIZZA! Only problem is that the 15″ pizza is NOT15 inches. It is only 12″. This place boasts Authentic New York Style Pizza with large, foldable slices and a crispy crust. There are usually several types of pizza slices available including a daily special, all of which are yummy. They have fun seating that faces Main St, and the staff is usually friendly. Who doesnt love beer or wine with pizza, right?

My favorite is the Sweet Margherita. It’s very fresh and I can basically eat all but one slice of the 10-inch version. At $ 12.95 it’s a little pricey, but you could easily split it between two people. I’ve always found the staff to be very friendly, and enjoy sitting at the bar talking to them while my pizza is prepared. I’ve eaten in here alone and it wasn’t weird. They also have Not Your Father’s Root Beer, which is delicious.

When to get slices of pizza for my kids. They had two said they couldn’t put more in? Never herd of a pizza place selling slices, won’t put more in. The customer service was terrible and the pizza we did get was very greasy!

Pros, Cons, then Summary Went here with the family recently. Pros – The pizza was merely ok. It’s right on Main street for easy access and it’s good for people watching. That’s about it… Cons – As mentioned by many already, the service is terrible. Do you guys want to be in the pizza or art business? Make up your mind. It took forever to get our pizza. The girl with the tattoos could care less about customer service. We ordered more slices because we were still hungry, but they forgot about us and we had to remind them @20 mins later. Pizza is overpriced too. There aren’t that many places to sit either. Overall, would I go back? No. Never. No reason to go here with so many other food options on Main street. Rusty’s Pizza is right around the corner on Santa Clara, and even Rookee’s pizza would have been better.

What a great place to have a great meal to enjoy in the city of Ventura who also happens to be celebrating 150 years of local history. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone who is in the mood for a great slice or whole pizza pie. Yummy!!!

We’ve walked past this place 1000x and never stopped in, but I’m so glad we did! Slice and a pint, 7.99 $?! Okay! The place was packed but the service was awesome and the food was good! We also got the antipasto salad, which was awesome as well! Great beer selection, clean and friendly! We will be back!

I was craving pizza by the slice, and all its greasiness and this place hit just the spot. I only tried the pepperoni, but if they can nail that, then they get my approval on the rest. I can’t imagine how amazing this would be when you want a late night snack, and pizza at the same time. I will be back for sure. They also have sandwiches and a lot of other things! Delicious.

Giving this a 5 star because out of the plenty of times I have came to this location I’ve never been disappointed. Great place for cheap pizza, especially after a night of being downtown. They stay open late so that’s a plus, seating is seems limited but so far I’ve never had the problem of not finding a place. And the people who work there are always really cool. Even when there is a gnarly line of drunk hungry people. Yum

This may be the only place in downtown Ventura to literally just grab a slice so if you’re in a hurry or are just hungry for only a slice then stop by here. The pizza is pretty good but a little greasy.

Jimmy’s Slice — Home of the 15-inch pizza that’s only 12 inches… The pizza here is good. Two issues with this place: 1. They charge a 50 cent surcharge if you pay by credit card. 2. I ordered a 15″ pizza. I picked up the pizza, brought it home and opened the box. The pizza was actually 12″.(Yeah, I measured it…) I called and told them. I was told that I had grabbed the wrong box.(The box I grabbed was handed to me by the woman working there. It wasn’t like I had a choice of different boxes to choose from.) I brought the small pizza back and she brought out another pizza. A guy came out from the back and opened a pizza box containing a tiny pizza. «This is a ten-inch pizza.» I guess that was supposed to show me the difference by comparison. He said, «That pizza you brought back is a fifteen inch pizza!» I told him«I measured the pizza you gave me. It’s twelve inches. So you’re telling me that your fifteen inch pizza is actually twelve inches in diameter?» He shrugged and avoided eye contact. «Sometimes my eye is off.» Eye is off? Don’t they have different sized pizza pans that they use depending on what the customer orders? Every other pizza place I know does it that way.

Came here on a Friday night after hitting some of the breweries. I expected a lot more pizza option. I ordered the pizza slice and pint for 7.99. I wanted the special but they said it would be a while. After I paid and went to sit down the special pizza came out –_-. So much for that. I stuck with pepperoni I ordered it was good but missing sauce.

Jimmy’s Slice bills itself as «Ventura Style Pizza». Apparently«Ventura Style Pizza» is mediocre and best served in a raucous atmosphere at 2am when the bars have closed. Out.

We had the cheesy drunk munchies when came here Saturday night after hitting up a couple of bars. I noticed that the ready made pizzas were just kind of sitting in this case, they looked so dry and old. I really didn’t want get a slice from here but it was open late and all the other kitchens had closed. The cheese pizza slice totaled out to $ 4.17…which is I think outrageous for a single tiny slice of readymade pizza thats been sitting out for who knows how long. It was just ok after the server warmed it up for us, nothing special. The only standout good thing about this place is that its open late on fridays and saturdays, until 3am I believe. I don’t think I would come back again unless I was really plastered. I’d probably go to Dargan’s for the fresh, made to order late night food menu that they offer until 1am.

Location is awesome, along the happening part of Main St. across from Dargan’s Irish Pub. Came in for a couple slices of pizza and 2 brews, my bill came out to $ 17.00. The pizzas are the thin style… Limps up and you have to fold it over to eat. Pizza here is nothing too special so if you like the thin style hit this place up. High PLUS– this plays is open until 3am Friday and Saturdays! Great place for food after the bars ;-P
