Horrible service. Rude staff !! I asked if I could use the restroom but they said Oh no you can only get the code with purchase. I said well I was going to order anyways but have to pee really bad. No. They made me wait in line to check out in order to use the restroom. How can you deny someone to use the restroom?! Shocked beyond belief how bad we were treated.

Short walk from the room we were staying at. It’s a great location. I’ll just get the negative over with, it was awkward set up, very small and hard to be comfortable shoulder to shoulder. Especially when it was very early, and tiny space filled with caffeine addicted grouches(like myself) So with that said, the service was fabulous! Friendly and quick ! They had a nice outdoor seating area though. Kinda makes up for the awkward side to side shuffle during the order and pick up. I apologize to the person behind me, I know that had to hurt when I stepped on your toes :-/sorry ! I was trying to allow room for the large hair do of the lady in front of me. Ever been poked in the eye with a hair that’s been super sprayed with hair spray I think !? Not pleasant, but it looked good, and we all got out caffeine. Ps I love Starbucks and appreciate the baristas, they do an outstanding job :-)

The wifi is good as well as easy to connect to. There are a few chairs and if you can get one they are comfortable. This is a good location close to the mall and the place is kept clean. The employees are friendly enough and they are always helping or cleaning.

Let me start off by saying the service started out ok! However, when Starbucks(a particular barista Brunette with glasses and hair in a ponytail) try’s to charge me extra for milk to go with my expresso, that is ridiculous! And telling me «oh I can’t give you more milk that’s too much I’ll have to charge you for it… because that would make it a latte» maybe you didn’t get proper barista training! I was asking for cold milk not steamed! You should be respectful and make every customer comfortable! I’ve been to many other Starbucks all over the country and they usually have both milk and half &half out! There is a water shortage not a milk shortage in CA! And if I tell you I am ok with paying for I don’t need you look at me twice and repeat to me that there will be an extra charge! Thank you for giving me such a pleasant experience. Maybe you should take tips from your fellow employees who were polite!

Tight seating and not very many chairs. Definitely not a place to kick back. It is a take out only kind of place. Asked for latte extra hot but got mostly foam and NOT hot at all. Disappointed.

Starbucks is always reliable when it comes to what you go to Starbucks looking for. We stopped in for a warm drink while walking around downtown and that is what we got. The Barista was very friendly and was helpful in explaining the difference in a couple teas that we were curious about.

I have been going to Starbucks for years, and because of my last visit, I will not go back. I came here with my boyfriend on Valentines Day, and I ordered a Carmel Frappuccino Grande. When I took a sip it tasted like rotten milk. My boyfriend went to taste it, and he thought it was awful so he went to the counter asking the man mixing the drinks to remake it, and he refused. I was upset, and didn’t want to finish my drink so I threw it away after a few sips. About 1 hour later I started to get very sick, and throw up until I lost everything in my system. My whole day was ruined! I had to cancel dinner reservations, and everything. I wrote to Starbucks the next day. The representative was very kind, understanding, told me they would investigate this, and fallow up with me, and I would be sent a gift card as well. None of that ever happened. So now my family, friends, and I refuse to drink, and eat at starbucks ever again. There is no excuse for this poor of customer service!

All I can say is grrrrrr. Starbucks changes their hot teas. You find one of the new ones you like and they run out. So you try and find a second one you like and they run out of that one. After two weeks they are STILLOUTOFTHEFIRSTHOTTEA. How long does it take to get product in your stores???

I head to this particular Starbucks a lot. On my way to work, from work, or just because I really need a scone. The employees here are very pleasant and my constant presence means they recognize me. Not well enough to know my order, but enough I feel like I’m not at a random Starbucks. Typical menu. It’s just nice having a place I don’t mind going.

The service was pretty bad here today when I tried to redeem my 50% of holiday drink reward. The cashier, Nicole, was absolutely terrible. The offer was clearly available, not redeemed or expired. I have also seen cashiers adjust pricing as well. For some reason that day, my offer code wasn’t going through when I ordered a venti chestnut praline latte. She said there was nothing she could do and Id have to take it up with the rewards program. So we sat there arguing for 5 minutes and then another barista came up with the drink I ordered. He asked what was the problem and proceeded to try and fix it. Turns out this offer was only for grande sized drinks, which would have been fine if it was in the offer details or a barista told me that was the case. So she gave me the grande offer and tried to tell the barista to go make me another smaller sized drink. With the line pulling up, he just gave me the venti drink even though she was insisting on giving me a smaller one. Kudos to this guy for dealing with Nicole. He is the reason why I gave a 2 star rating. When it comes to large chain eateries, it all comes down to service and the consistency of the food/drink. I’m not one for name dropping but this is beyond stupid.

Ella at the register was not helpful and not welcoming. She was confused by my order which is somewhat understandable but, your in the service business and need a better attitude. She ignored my last request for java chip in my drink completely. When she was done taking my order she just yelled next! And did not thank me. Horrible service. My drink has no extra carmel and I payed for extra carmel. I am slowing phasing you out Starbucks.

This Starbucks location has a very nice outdoor seating option! No plugs out there but you can take in the town while you work or just relax. Definitely recommend this place whenever your in Ventura.

If it’s a Carmel Macchiato or a Carmel Frappucino then Starbucks is my place of choice, not to mention the baristas are always friendly and do their best to memorize your order, so much so that when your having an off day and can’t remember your first name. no need to worry your Barista will remember.

Always super busy. And lots of homeless peeps. Can’t say the service is the best either, but you kind of understand it when you see the normal clientele they deal with . Try Palermo’s down the street a few blocks.(same side) Local owned and better coffee. More room to socialize, and better views to people watch.

Although this place is small, their friendly service sure does fill up the place. I’ve been coming here for the past four weeks and every time I’ve had a great interaction with the staff. The coffee: it’s Starbucks! You’re going to get some generic coffee that’s branded as ‘original’ and ‘Colombian’ and ‘fair trade’, but we all know it’s probably from the same factory in Guatemala. It’ll be the same coffee as the coffee at the Starbucks a mile away. You come here for the service! As many other reviewers have pointed out, the place is small. If you plan on going to study, you better be a person who loves a bunch of people seemingly rubbing their torsos on you while you’re on your computer. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a seat outside and get a great view of Downtown Ventura. And if you can’t get a seat the library is up the street.
