I took two pairs of shoes here to have them stretched. The owner told me they would be ready the next day– I asked if he was sure that would be enough time to do the job– He assured me it would-I paid him and left– The next day I went to pick up my shoes and asked him if he was sure they were stretched enough– he said to try them on if not bring them back and he would stretch them more… AND of course just overnight had not done the job-so another trip back to the mall in Ventura– when I took them in to have them stretched some more he asked for my receipt. which of course I did not have– he replied with, Oh, that’s a shame! and started writing out a new ticket, I asked don’t you remember me. it was just a few days ago, he said yes, I remember you but without the receipt you have to pay again. I replied, «I don’t think so sir. I paid $ 20 the first time KNOWING that an overnight stretch would not be enough– I left and took my shoes to Lee’s Shoe Repair-the owner was kind enough to stretch my shoes for free since I had already paid the guy at step n out for a job that was not done properly to begin with– which I thought was very kind and noble of Mr. Lee– Its easy to see why Mr. Lee is so successful. He knows and cares about GOODCUSTOMERSERVICE— So id you are in need of shoe repair while you are finding a place to the park at Pacific View Mall –you can instead head a little further down main street – 1806 E Main St(near Ventura High School) to Mr. Lee’s shop– I don’t think you will be sorry you did.

I’ve taken 2 of my designer bags here to be repaired and cleaned. Good customer service, except there’s an older man(not sure nationality) that is one of the bosses. He charged me $ 24 to have my patent leather bag cleaned. That’s fine and dandy but I just picked it up and it was covered in crap! Residue, particles. This bag had not been cleaned! The reason why this got 3 stars after all and not 1 is because the other guy(boss) who worked on handbags cleaned it in front of me. Worth 24 $? No freaking way. Especially when the bottle to clean it cost 10 $ that they sell. I didn’t make a huge deal because great boss #2 made amends. My bag looks great now too.

Located in Pacific View Mall, suite #1325, by Sears. I’ve gotten my shoes shined a few times and Mr. Ramon has repaired shoes for me as well. Prompt service with a smile and comparable prices with other locations keeps me coming back.

Great service! I was told by my dance instructor I needed to have my shoes for Greek dancing re-soled, no idea what that meant since they were new. I took them in and the owner explained it wasn’t to replace the sole it was to add traction to the bottom of the shoe. He showed me a couple examples and had different types of traction to choose from. They were ready when he said they would be and it’s been four years and the traction though scuffed is not worn down. Good work and reasonable.
