Because we didnt know our options when it comes to the law, we randomly selected a law firm to defend us. They are based out of San Fernando Valley. It was definitely malpractice on their part when we received a warrant out for our arrest. Come to find out the court stated the attorney didnt attend court on the date assigned and so the warrant was issued. You call the law firm and they say they’ll call you back but they never returned your call. You keep pestering them and eventually they’ll return your call. You asked what they’ve done for you and they’re not interested in doing more (negotiate to get you the lesser sentence) or even go above and beyond what they are supposed to do in order to fully represent you. Devastating to say the least!
