Fresh farm eggs. Fresh Florida juice. Smoky grits. Friendly service. This is our go to place for a great breakfast. Great omlets. Be sure to save room for the mini muffins that come with your check.

Small place but a really neat little restaurant(painted yellow naturally). Really busy so you might have to wait out front on the patio for a table. Wonderful breakfast menu(served all day) and a really good lunch menu as well(served until 2:30). I had the Lemon Tree Signature Breakfast Sandwich — Egg and Cheese served on a Fresh Baked Croissant with Ham and a side of Breakfast Potatoes. I also had an extra order of Cheese Grits(delicious). My breakfast companion chose the Lemon Tree Eggs Benedict — 2 Poached Eggs covered in a Lemony Hollandaise Sauce on an English Muffins with Ham. We both thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts.
Very popular place with the locals so expect great food. You won’t be disappointed. GOODFOODANDGOODSERVICE.

I’m am man of color, I drove from Sebastian to have breakfast after reading some reviews. The place was quit cozy and the food was excellent. However what offended was, I was greeted by a gentleman. Table for one I said. He proceed to take me to be seated, he passed two empty tables and seated me in the very back of the restaurant. How ignorant of his country’s history. As a public business, it becomes your responsibility to be mindful of every customer that enters your establishment.

Ordered the Crab n Artichoke Omelet with swiss cheeee. It tasted healthy but wasn’t filing. The meal felt too light. It was a nice touch to get a sorbet as dessert. Of 3 choices, I chose the lemon sorbet that was refreshing n tangy

Croissant served chilled, then touched by Manager and made into a Panini(with smushed omelet inside) when I sent it back Croissants are supposed to be flaky and warm or room temperature. It was clear that this Croissant was from the frig or freezer as it was the served to me very cold. I told the Manager as she walked by. She poked it and said they would warm it up for me. It was returned to me as Panini. The server laughed and said now you have a Panini! I regret not walking out at that point as the server had already rolled her eyes twice and spilled the coffee on my table(and left it) When I asked for napkins to clean up the spill. She put a napkin under my cup and said«There you go! Keep your cup on this napkin» I had never had a chilled or pressed Croissant. That is not what I wanted or ordered. I told the Manager that. She said«Maybe next time you will like what you get» The prices are high in comparison to several places a few doors away and others in area. The portions are smaller as well Eatery a few doors down have a very similar Breakfast sandwich on a Grilled Croissant for several dollars less with much better service, generous portions and fresher ingredients The service is not good now The Business could count on locals and tourists for many years. Now, they may be able to get tourists once but locals will not pay for poor service, food or experiences. Another local couple complained at the portions of their quiche and omelette meals. «That is it for $ 12?» «Oh well, we will go somewhere else next time!» The server did not reply. Both Managers were standing very near and also did not seem to care.

Had breakfast at the lemon tree on a Saturday morning and, although the place was busy, we(hubby, 2 kids, and I) were seated right away. Our server was wonderful and efficient. The food came out super fast and it was absolutely great! The quiche with everything in it was delicious, so was my husband’s French toast. My girls had pancakes and they are the best pancakes I have tasted! They even made they in the shape of mickey mouse :) The price is comparable to other establishments, but well worth it. To end, when the bill comes to the table, it arrives in a small basket with mini chocolate chip muffins. I recommend this place to everyone!

if 4.5 stars was an option that is what I would give Lemon Tree. The place was very cute and centrally located. I loved the touches of yellow EVERYWHERE, the décor definitely had a southern charm to it. Upon entering, we were promptly greeted and seated. The waitstaff was extremely efficient, friendly and worked well together. I ordered coffee, a mimosa, and the crab cake benedict. I chose a side of potatoes over the grits. There was nothing special about the potatoes — they seemed to lack salt and other seasoning. There was ketchup and Tobasco so I was happy. The only downfall to the experience was the tight quarters of the restaurant. To maximize space, a booth that would typically seat 4 – 6 was divided by a piece of wood(as classy as a wood divider could be) and comfortably sat 2 on each side of the wood. We were seated next to an older couple and the lady was literally reading excerpts from the news paper to her husband the majority of the time we were there. She was sitting right next to me, I could have touched her purse if I wanted to, and vice versa. I was not disappointed and would likely return if I were to visit Vero again. The patrons appeared to be a mix between locals(that the staff knew/recognized) and tourists(like my boyfriend and I).

Lemon Tree was by far my favorite breakfast establishment I visited during my week in Vero Beach. The food was delicious, came out quickly, and the service was fantastic. I only wish they were open at the beginning of our trip(they were closed for vacation). I am not a huge pancake person but their pancakes are delicious. The quiches they make are delicious as well and very largem. We had breakfast here 3 times and when we come back it will certainly be every day we are here.

Great food for bargain prices. Came here Saturday morning for breakfast and ordered the quiche – it was awesome! The restaurant stops overing full breakfast menu at 11:00am, so if you want more than the limited breakfast options be sure to get here early. There is always people eating here, but I never had a problem being seated immediately. A great bonus is the proximity to the beach. I very much recommend eating at this place!

I love this place! Whatever you order it will satisfy your taste buds. Everything tastes fresh from their omelets to their burger. The staff are also very friendly and diligent. Whenever I’m in town I eat here every morning. I love love love their quiche and my only complaint would be, as a vegetarian, I wish there were more vegetable quiche days! Definitely a must for breakfast in Vero.

Loved this place for breakfast. Went there once for breakfast while staying a the Vero Resort and Spa and went back the next morning since it was so good. Had an awesome omelet the first time and then had the pancakes the next time. Really good both times. Service was excellent. Great little restaurant.

Husband and I went back to Lemon Tree for breakfast before we left Vero Beach. It was around 9:30am. For a Monday morning, it’s pretty pack with a lot of locals, means they are good. My husband ordered the same, Crab Benedict and I got waffles with strawberry and whip cream, corn beef hash. They both tasted good, however my husband didn’t feel right after having the Crab Benedict, we had a little concern about the freshness, hope the owner can look into it. Other than that, foods taste good, service is good! Will come back when we visit Vero. Love they gave little muffins for everyone as desserts.

Short walking distance from Vero Beach Hotel and Spa. The décor is nice and homie, looks like a moms and pops place. I am a breakfast and brunch person, so my expectations were pretty high. the lemon tree was just ok, I guess one of the most decent breakfast to get around Vero Beach. I had the breakfast sandwich — croissant sandwich with choice of bacon or ham, with eggs and cheese. Small portion, but the taste was not bad.(10 $) I also had the original eggs benefits(12 $) I love eggs benefits, however, I was not a fan of this one, no taste on the hollandaise sauce. The service was outstanding. Supporting the local business

Met some friends a Lemon Tree for brunch today. Seated immediately while I waited for my friends to arrive. Coffee came right away, hot and they left the pot for refills. My meal was the breakfast sandwich, with sausage, and plain grits. The sandwich was good, maybe the croissant a bit soft. The grits were fine, nothing special. The mini muffins that seem to please everyone, is a nice touch to be sure, but they are small and sort of plain. Enjoyed the place but it was a long drive from South Florida for a meal.(I realize that my visit was not a typical visit, as my friends drove down to meet me from Orlando).

When I’m in Vero Beach, I always make a point to have breakfast here. Everything I’ve ordered has come out looking and tasting delicious and the kitchen knows how to poach an egg perfectly. That being the known case makes the Eggs Benedict a very easy order. Faultless! The Hollandaise is slightly more lemony than most but I do feel it is a great compliment to the dish. The highlight always are the freshly baked mini muffins. If you happen to be there on a day when they have the expresso chip ones just sa our each nibble. They are addictive. The staff are efficient and pleasant.

We had a very nice Mother’s Day breakfast at The Lemon Tree this morning. Across the street from our resort, it was a short walk to breakfast. Inside, cheery décor featuring lemons(what else?) greeted us. I especially liked the terrazzo floors. While I had been planning to order a creamy, cheesy grits dish, when I saw that they had corned beef hash on the menu, I quickly changed my mind. Our server told us that the hash was made on site and since I’ve never tried it, I went for the order. The plate usually comes with two poached eggs, home potatoes, and toast. I try to eat gluten free when possible so I told them to hold the toast. I was also given the option of selecting sliced tomatoes instead of home fries, so I went for the healthy option. Please see picture. My husband ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. We both had coffee which was very good black. Our server left a coffee pot at the table so that we could help ourselves. I also noticed that several diners had the distinctive Orchid Island orange juice containers on their tables, so the OJ is locally sourced. When our plates quickly arrived, I was happy to see that the tomato slices where large and ripe. They tasted sweet and fresh. My eggs were poached perfectly and the hash was good. I will definitely be back to The Lemon Tree.

3 stars for food, and one star off for the nasty attitude displayed by the owner to the hostess. I hadn’t been here in years but stopped in for lunch. The Angus burger and shrimp scampi were all great, and love the free sorbet. The server was very attentive and sweet. Unfortunately, witnessing the owner berating the hostess at the hostess stand up front as we were leaving really left a bad taste in my mouth. I won’t be back.
