As other people have mentioned. Shopping here is very different then eating here. I waited 20. mins for 2 girls behind the juice counter to take my order with no one in line. They were busy? This weekend I purchased over 70 dollars of food for father’s day from their food court. The beans had a huge bone with what I hope was meat?. As my guest found on her plate. Then she had a chicken tamale with the bone cartilage. Then tonight we heated up the pork tamels. I almost broke my tooth on you guessed it a bone! Last time I’ll eat here. Quality is better than quantity. Blan food and poor quality.

I’ve always enjoyed shopping here but when it comes to eating there that’s a whole other story. I’ve never had to wait this long(20 minutes) for a bowl of menudo. As I waited I noticed both ladies reading the tickets and looking confused as if they where written in German. Would have said Spanish but you know what I mean. I mentioned it to one of the ladies and she snubbed me off. As if this is the norm! I’ll take my business somewhere else.

I’m not a social media person so I don’t really write reviews but in this case I just wanted to let you know I gave the cashier $ 100 bill I was given back change in 20s and received a fake 20. I tried to speak with the manager the next day and was put on hold over 30 minutes. I don’t know why I was treated so poorly I’m not sure if it was because I don’t speak Spanish but I will never visit this store again and if you happen to do so I would advise you check your change make sure you receive real money and not fake money.

I was impressed by the store layout and roominess. Selections were great. I just came in looking for Sandia Aqua Fresca but settled for the Fruta. If I were local, I probably would frequent that store.

I like to go here for the restaurant inside the store the food is excellent and not too expensive, and while I am waiting I always shop at the store they have really good selection and the prices are reasonable.

There’s another vallarta much closer to me, but I prefer to drive the extra distance to come to this one. I call it the Mexican Costco because of the size of it. Plus everything is huge. I’m used to doing the math as I add stuff to my cart, but here I just throw stuff in and see how much it comes up to. Seems like a full cart is always around $ 50 – 60 so I’m happy with that.

The cashier asked to see my photo ID for my credit card even though I was buying less than $ 2 in strawberries. Terrible customer service. Pathetic. Rude. Never returning.

The food is really good but the service makes it not worth the wait. None of the employees here have any sense of urgency. There can be 100 people Or 2 people in line and nothing changes. Slow no care confused and just not well managed. We would be here much more often but the service kills the experience .

Delicious, fresh food. Great quality, great prices & great taste. The only issue is the cleanliness of the store. The bathrooms and dinning area are usually dirty. Aqua Fresca & elote & many other treats always available. This market has a huge variety of treats. The chips with pig skin are also available if that’s your type of favorite treat.

This is a good place to get all your Hispanic food needs. We walked into the store because we needed veggies to make our albondiga soup we were shocked at the great selection. Not to mention they have all types of seafood and meats. We will definitely be coming back.

While prices can sometimes be higher than I like, the customer service is always great, the food is of good quality and the place is clean. My fav, the pupusas. It’s a must try!

I frequently shop here. There are many items here I am unable to find anywhere else, as well as awesomely low prices for other items. The panadería has so many delicious breads that my husband and I love buying. The conchas are delicious and apparently what Vallarta’s is known for. There’s always a great selection available. As strange as this may sound, the produce section looks pretty. They keep it extremely well-stocked and organized. I’ve never seen food that has gone bad. To top it off, the prices are so good, especially for the quality. I’d recommend everyone to shop here.

I’ve always loved going inside this place. The inside of the store is fantastic. I love their mini food court they have inside. Plus their bakery is deffinently the best Mexican one in the high desert. I love that the store has so much to choose from, without a doubt this is my favorite Mexican market in the high desert. Just went there today and I already want to go back!!!

I receive ads in the mail for this place all the time and have never been inside the store until today. WOW! It was so festive. They get an «A» for ambiance. It was so bright and colorful inside with Mexican music playing and friendly employees everywhere you turn. Shopping there feels like a party. The produce selection is unbelievable. I usually buy all of my groceries at Winco and am consistently disappointed in the quality of their produce. Now that I have found Vallarta, I may not buy produce anywhere else again. Flour and corn tortillas are made fresh in the store. They even hand out warm tortillas as you walk by. The deli was very busy but I took a number because I couldn’t leave the store without some delicious rice pudding. I had no idea what I have been missing all this time. There is nothing like Vallarta anywhere else in the high desert.

Vallarta is like a cross between a Super Walmart and Mi Pueblo of the High Desert! The only place that I have ever seen a personal services shop within a market is Walmart in Gilroy. Well– Vallarta has Walmart beat! They actually have a brow bar inside of the market! You can get your brows did, pick cervezas, carne asada, pan dulce, cake and more all in one stop! Joking aside– we picked up everything that we needed for our bbq, fixings for pozole, carne asada, marinated chicken, produce, a mango tres leches cake, pan dulce, and more for around $ 100. They have awesome deals here! Honorable mention– The meat department employees were super helpful! YAY! I’m a fan!

I will never ever come here again. My husband and I came in here tonight to check out their prices since we are new to the area. I don’t know why, but they had an employee start following us halfway through the store. Maybe because we didn’t have a cart? I know we don’t look like thieves. I didn’t even touch anything. My husband touched a couple bottles of horchata to check the ingredients, so it’s not like it could even look like we were being suspicious. I’ve never been followed like that in my life. It was very offensive. And their prices are nothing to boast about either. I think I will continue to travel down the hill to Superior or Super King. Way better prices and I don’t have to be annoyed by someone watching everything I do.

I use to purchase all my produce from Super Walmart, until I discovered Vallarta. They have an abundance of fresh fruit and veggies(that Walmart does not carry) Also the prices are really cheap! Vallarta has amazing sales. A few days ago I stopped by and they were doing a sale on Bananas(99 cents for 3 lbs!) So cheap! They also carry a large selection of meats, have a food court, and small miscellaneous shops within the store. It truly is a one stop destination for everything you need.

Love Vallartas but the taqueria service sucks! My husband and I went to Vallartas today to get the ingredients we needed to make homemade tamales. We decided to stop and have lunch at the taqueria. Bad idea. We waited about 30 minutes for our order then the food tasted like it had been sitting there all day. Will return to Vallartas for groceries but not to the taqueria!

A really good place for grocery shopping because every Wednesday is a sale and you can get your fruits, veggies, and meat for a really good deal.!! Plus the resturants in there have really good food.
