My 2nd haircut with Amir and it was wonderful. My hair feels healthy & smooth. It has been years since my hair has been this short (chin length) but it feels chic, and I can run my hands through my hair and it bounces effortlessly back into shape. And like my first cut I expect this cut will feel «right» and look good both the «day after» and weeks later. Thanks again Amir.

Nothing bad to say about Amir and Renee and I think of them like my extended family. They are consummate professionals at the top of their game, Renee is amazing with brows and facials (and I usually hate facials) and helpful but not pushy at sales. I have used both the skin care products and the make up she sells for years now and they are both top notch and she is always willing to help me with tips and trick for application. Amir creates great color, hands down the best I have ever had and he cuts so your hair lays in a natural way. Be warned he takes his time, and is a perfectionist which is what you want when it comes to looking great but you will be there for 2 hours and have his undivided attention for that full amount of time. Highly recommend!!!
By they way they are working out of Gilda’s on Gallows Rd right now not at the Maple Ave location.

Amir is the best hair stylist I have ever had, hands down! I’ve lived in many big cities with excellent hair stylists. Not one was as good as Amir. He is meticulous. He spends a long time studying your face, reviewing your hair texture and color to create a style that is right for you. He really is an artist. As long as he’s in business, I will not go anywhere else!

I did not have a good experience at Amir Salon. My hair was burned and looked like a bowl haircut. The haircut and highlights took extremely too long to complete.
I ended up going to Hair Cuttery to fix the haircut and burned hair.

An artist at work — that’s Amir! He spends a lot of time and pays an incredible amount of attention creating a masterpiece. His coloring skills are unparalleled (I’ve been to at least six different colorists in three different cities) and he gives a great haircut. He seems to have a vision of what he wants the final product to look like and is so conscientious, that at times he’s stopped me, after I’ve started walking away from the chair, because he sees what he deems a slight imperfection and wants to correct it. As others have posted, the salon is a little tricky to find, but it’s well worth it!

Amir and Renee have a passion for what they do and it shows in their attention to every detail. You will get honest, one on one service — I’ve been very happy with the hair color Amir chose for my complexion and he’s working to fix some bleach damage caused by another stylist. And, Renee has great skin care advice! If you want quality and trustworthy hair & skin care, you will be glad you found this place.

This was the best facial I’ve had so far. I got the Groupon for a flower pedal facial with Led light therapy treatment and after I left my skin looked better than it ever has and still does a week later. Usually my skin breaks out and looks «rough» after a facial but not this time. I’m also acne prone and haven’t had a breakout since. It was also super relaxing. The woman who did my facial was very nice and did a great job making me feel pampered. I will be going back as often as I can afford! It doesn’t look like much on the outside and was a little hard to find but it was worth it! Dot judge a book by its cover!

I went to Amir’s Salon to get a facial done and I have to say that Renee was excellent. She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. My time with her was very informative. I would highly recommend this place.
Although it was a bit difficult to locate. You have to find Marco Polo Restaurant and then go inside and up the stairs!

Wonderful service. The owners are very friendly and efficient. The location is a little difficult to find, just look at the Marco Polo Restaurant, walk to the right near the edge of the building and go upstairs. You will find the door on the right.
I’ll be back to get some work done on this mop I call hair!
