Dr. Gary is awesome! He’s kept me and my husband in action. Gary is able to read neurological clues our bodies give to identify fixes needed in our spines, necks and hips. But he’s not just a great chiropractor who takes good care of our spines, he takes care of the whole body. When i broke my foot, and when hubby broke his collarbone, Gary had exercises and suggestions to help us work around our injuries and get back in action! When i was having troubles with my shoulder, Gary changed my weight-​lifting routine so i could continue to get the muscular benefits of lifting w/​o the negative impact on my shoulder joint. He really knows us as people, not just patients, and he’s absolutely necessary to keep us walking, biking, hiking, waterskiing and snowboarding. I can’t imagine having such an active lifestyle w/​o having Gary around to keep us motoring along.

This guy is a fantastic chiropractor. Good chiropractors are hard to find … I know from experience.
I’ve been seeing him since the late 1990’s … and I still use his services even though I now live 600 miles from the DC Metro area. He mentored with another chiropractor (Mark Smith … now in Midlothian, VA I believe, just outside of Richmond, VA) who I had seen since the early 1980’s.
Gary not only is a good «adjuster» (that makes him sound like he works for an insurance company!) but he knows all of the touch for health and applied kinesiology approaches. Also, he offers a computerized traction service (the Accuspina) that is just fantastic for those with chronic lower back problems. His focus is on your overall health. Recently, I tore a rotator cuff and needed an opinion re surgery. The surgeon who fixed my other shoulder told me to come in for an appointment to get a referral for an MRI … not an easy thing to do when you live 600 miles away. Gary wrote the referral for me and faxed it to the MRI center, and I was able to visit DC, get the MRI, and get both his chiropractic evaluation for the injury area AND a surgical opinion in 1 trip to the DC area. This is a great example of how Gary will work with you for holistic health solutions rather than contributing to a system that perpetuates unnecessary visits, fees, and drug-​surgery only approach to medical care.
