We called and placed a carry out order about 30 minutes prior to our arrival to pick it up. When we arrived we found out they had forgot about it. When we asked them what happened they laughed at us, said they were busy(which it didn’t look that busy-maybe 7 other customer) and we could always cancel our order. Also, when we went to pay we found out the prices on the website are not the actual prices so we actually had to pay more than the online website we used to order stated! Where is the customer service. Very disappointed, expected more. We have been coming here for years. After today we won’t be back. I would rather spend my money in a place that demonstrates customer service.

Kababs are not as tasty as they mentioned in previous reviews and meat prices I found costlier. Staff is terrible in understanding orders, probably because of language issue. Worst part is you do not get meat orders as you want. On meat counter I asked him for Ground Goat, he showed me Ground Beef. I explained him as patiently as I can, I don’t want Ground Beef, I want Ground Goat. He said Ok, I went to him after 15 – 20 minutes. Now he is again giving me Ground Beef and told me he don’t have Ground Goat. I told him you understood my order of Ground Goat and said Ok. Now you are giving me Ground Beef. If you did not had Ground Goat then you should have told me before. I am now going to search for alternate Halal meat shop in the area.

WARNING!! WARNINGROTTENMEAT. I was there a couple days ago to buy meat, the beef was green which showed sign of being rotten. I got two chickens because I needed some meat very badly and did not know where other meat markets are and they looked ok not rotten like the beef. I had to throw away ¾ of the chicken because they feel slimy and smelled bad. Please do not buy meat from here I will not dare to eat there either, just imagine what kind of meat is being cook. Will never go there again…

BUYERSBEWARE!!! This market owner clearly has no idea that customers are the reason for business NOT the disruption of it! He sold me DISGUSTING, STALE fruit and nuts and refused to refund me my money!

I went to Shiraz Market for lunch for the first time yesterday and it was fantastic. I got the chicken kabob which was great. Food comes out fast and the staff are very nice. You can see them cooking and preparing your food, which is cool, because they are definitely using authentic cookware and ingredients. Prices are fair, very much in line with the other kabob places in the area. Will definitely be going here again.

If you are grocery shopping in this place, make sure you count the number of your items and also keep track of the price. They have a tendency to overcharge by adding items to your list that you did not buy. It has happened to us multiple times and we caught it at home after the fact. Shame on them for doing it and shame on us for putting up with it. But no more!

The Market was nice fully stocked and very good service! however it wasn’t organized, some of the main products didn’t have a price tag next to the item! And like other reviews the prices were very expensive compare to other markets i have ever shopped at!!! The kabob koubideh(ground beef kabob) was inexpensive but rice was very small portion, cold, wasn’t fresh and was no taste in it plus they charged me $ 1.25 extra for having bread with my order which it was small portion of bread always comes free as a side! Overall all this grocery market and restaurant was okay nothing too crazy about or I wanna check them back soon!

Shiraz market is open and airy, but nearly everything is overpriced; particularly the pastries and lavash. Assal market is more crowded and stuffy, but your best bet for pastries and good prices.

What a great lunch spot! This place is situated in an industrial park In between Tyco Deli and the old Hot Tubs building. The driveway is directly across from Eurasian Automotive. Primarily a market & bakery, they have daily lunch specials that are quite good. Sandwich choices include Kotlet, Chicken Kebab, lamb kebab, and several others. All sandwiches are available on sub roll or house bread. Both are fresh baked all day. Non-sandwich specialties are all very tasty as well. I’ve tried the Sabzi and found it to be delicious. Pricing here is a bit high compared to other lunch spots, but the quality of food and amount of food are commensurate with the pricing. All in all, a worthwhile spot!
