I’ll be damned if I was leaving the Vineyard without a tacky tshirt or sweatshirt. Conveniently located right by the Vineyard Haven ferry, the Sweats Outlet was my destination and was true to their slogan — «worth the walk upstairs.» They seemed to be having a sale on just about everything and I opted for a grandma sweatshirt (read: no hood) with a big print of some boats on it with huge «Martha’s Vineyard» print — for 10 bucks! And I actually get complimented on it because people think it’s so damn cute. I had to tear myself away from a red wind breaker for $ 40 — it was so WASPy and me, but alas, I had to be realistic. One Martha’s Vineyard apparel at a time… but there’s always next time…
