Andi Grant Photography

I had a boudoir session with Andi in December of 2010.
This was one of those deals where it is one session out of a group of 4 or 5 for the day in one location with makeup and a few products included.
I live in Virginia Beach and my session was in Williamsburg at a very beautiful inn called Colonial Gardens.
Andi did offer on-​site make-​up with the package I purchased but I had to have my hair done out in town. I found a local hair salon out in town and had my hair done prior.
Since I’m not very familiar with Williamsburg it was a little stressful but I managed to find everything and be on time.
Andi’s boudoir marathon was booked solid and I was one of 4 or 5 that day. I believe I was second to last. I had my make-​up done with another gal and went in for my session.
It was somewhat rushed because she had another gal after me and, while the location had beautiful props I felt awkward and rushed while trying to change outfits and ensure I got the shots I wanted. I also felt I had very little input on the poses for the most part and was unsure of what to do with my face, hands, etc. Andi did coach me and provide insight and suggestion into poses and such but the whole thing was forced for me and it showed in the photographs.
The package I booked for $ 395 included 3 outfits in a one hour session, makeup on site, a slideshow to music of my choice and a small photo book designed by Andi. All-​in-​all, not a bad deal and one I believe Andi no longer offers this at such a low price because she was just beginning in boudoir at the time.
Andi was prompt with emails and got the proofs and the picture book done within a very reasonable amount of time and was very professional.
The photos were lovely but I just felt rushed in and out since there were multiple people in the same day. I would suggest booking one-​on-​one with her if possible.

Wow. That is the word that describes Andi and her work. If you are hesitating… STOP! She is amazing. She did 4 sessions for me and I couldn’t be happier. She is creative, and has so much experience you are able to relax and just let her do what she does best. I am so happy that she was able to photograph my special day. Book her now!!!

I can’t believe no one else has reviewed Andi! That being the case, I’m going to take an opportunity to sing her praises even more! I just got the pictures back from our wedding and they are AMAZING! Hurricane Ida hit the day before our wedding and it was like the apocolypse outside. All of Andi’s pictures make the room look warm and the day look so incredibly romantic. She’s so talented! And reasonably priced compared to others I talked to.
She and her daughter, Zoe, work together and are a darling pair. We took pictures with each other them throughout the day.
Just love her. Just love her like crazy!
