Margarita Grill

I have been here a few times for drinks and food. Monday (yesterday) I stopped in and had $ 1 taco’s, they are good. Plus the sauce they make is really tasty. The beer selection is not all that great but if you are not the type of person (politically correct) that wants a ton of IPA’s and Stouts to choose from you will be fine. I got a Fat Tire and then Mexican beers. I really want to try the Nacho’s. Some people while I was there got some platters that looked really darn good. It is worth a try.

We were looking for a place to chill and grab lunch on Memorial Day. No chain restaurants for us so found several local places were closed but margarita grill wasn’t and glad it wasn’t! We tried different style of tacos with their different homemade hot sauces and it was all amazing. My favorite was the fajita chicken. Will be back!

This local dive bar is located at London bridge plaza directly on the corner beside Tuesday Mornings. It’s a hidden gem unnoticed. If it wasn’t for the Tjmaxx and Tuesday Mornings I wouldn’t have noticed this place. This spot is a typically only known to the locals of this area because it seemed like everybody about new each other in there. The vibe and local flare brought at this place is relaxing and a inviting.
Walking into this place the first thing you notice is this huge bar. It’s attracting, along with the island flare of reggae music playing in the air as everyone chills underneath the grass thatching embroidering the bar. Its like we are at a tiki bar at the beach.
Although a dive bar wouldn’t typically be a place where I would bring my young-​ins but the people here didn’t mind my boys. They were so excited because they were loving the music, watching some guys playing an interactive game of golf, the vast amount of Tv’s, interactive dart board and the beach theme, it’s everything attracting and fun.
We had the $ 5 special that came with 2 tacos and a side of margarita bites. The gooey center of the bites got me ordering a round two to go around. I also ordered lumpia (pork crispy spring roll) and a $ 2.75 tequila and pineapple drink.
Everything I ordered costed me almost $ 19
I love the price and the laid back environment. The waitresses and the bartenders were so friendly made sure we had a good time. The local customers here were really nice too.
This is defiantly the place to go hang out, not overcrowded, cheap Tex-​Mex type of food and a good selection of drinks for an amazing price at the bar.

Kind of a hole a wall place if you’re not from the area or if you don’t drive around Great Neck. My friend and I met up here for cinco de mayo. They had $ 5 beef or chicken burrito on special and they were delish. Try pairing it with their hottest sauce (green) and mix with their «sauce that’s with everything (yellowish taste like vinegar) to build some intense heat. Whew! We also ordered Coronas and Corona-Rita’s on special. Overall our bartender Bryan was awesome and very attentive. He checked up on us and continually filled up our drinks. Will probably come back if I’m ever going to TJ Maxx, or want some quick Mexican, or something to drink.

Came here on a Friday night around 7:30 pm and ordered a few drinks during happy hour (which ends at 9) We tried the chicken and chorizo quesadilla and it was AMAZING! Not to mention the bartenders are beautiful women who know how to make drinks. You have to try this place out!

My boyfriend and I stopped in for a late dinner and some drinks a few Friday’s ago. This place is very easy to miss, but is a diamond in the rough. Drinks were good, food was really good. We started with the lumpia (so yummy), boyfriend had the personal nachos and I had the hamburgesa mas fina (absolutely delicious). I was pleasantly pleased by the drinks and food. Will be returning very soon. :)

This is one of those spots that the locals love. You can tell because all of the guests that came in were regulars and the servers knew exactly what they wanted.
I really loved that they had daily specials and the day I came in, they had $ 5 personal nachos. They were finger-​licking good! The margaritas, which were only $ 3 for their Happy Hour, was just as good.
Food was good. Drinks were good. Servers were beyond friendly… Definitely not a bad place to drop by!

I just went here for the first time. Small place, but great local bar with very good food. We had the $ 1 beef tacos on special, they were really good. Also had their nachos with house made salsas. They were terrific. The bartender (who also served us) was attentive and gave us great suggestions. Not much for ambiance, but great food and service. I will definitely go back.

This place is awesome locally owned food is great! Not priced to badly! The lady’s behind the bar are friendly and quick. I definitely recommend this place for a quick lunch!

Yum the best nachos around… a half size is huge and will easily feed 2 with leftovers. Drink specials everyday and tons of tvs to catch any game. A hidden gem on the Blvd

I had the blackened tuna burrito and it was amazing. The setup reminds me of summer beach side bars in California (where I’m from) with more than adequate seating at the bar or elsewhere. They use fresh ingredients and have the most amazing custom salsa/​sauces. I loved the habanero and jalapeño vinaigrette. Our waitress was also amazing her service was spot on.

Excellent blackened tuna tacos. I really like how they bring you the three different sauces and include chopped cilantro & onion in addition to the pico de gallo. Looking forward to the next visit.

Quaint little bar. It appeared that there were a few regulars hanging out at the bar. I don’t mind that. More of a locals hangout. Small menu with good prices. We didn’t eat that visit but we did have a beer that was reasonably priced. Bartenders were very nice.

this is my spot for fish tacos. I haven’t had anything else off their menu but my usual drinking buddy gets chicken tacos time after time and never says no when I suggest to go there for an after work cocktail. they also have several sauces to choose from which are made in-​house.
When it comes to going to a well-​known bar or a dive bar, I always choose the latter; but this place meets right in the middle. a laid back atmosphere with friendly service and delicious food and drink.
(personal) bonus feature: i have never seen it busy enough to not find a spot at the bar. perfect. taylor is a great bartender:)

Out & about one night my fiancé & we were looking for a different place to stop in for a few drinks & eats. I’ve read great things about this place & we were in the area. I was worried it may be too much of a regulars spot, but their deals sounded too good to pass up.
There were only a few others sitting around the bar when we walked in. We took a seat against the wall & ordered a pair of bud lights that were on special. We saw that it was $ 5 burrito night, so my fella ordered their chicken one. I had to try some of their tacos. Taking advice from previous reviews, I went with the fried chicken, grilled shrimp, and kabob taco and made it a meal with the rice & beans.
The bar cleared out, so we moved to a seat up there. Our waitress was the bartender, so it was a win win. I ordered a margarita and it was straight mix & barely any tequila. Stick to beers here. She brought out their 5 different sauces & explained each one. Our food came out & his burrito was massive! Quite a deal for $ 5. My tacos looked tasty, but I was pretty disappointed that their were only 2 little shrimp in my $ 5 taco. Seemed a bit of a rip off. The chicken was okay, but my favorite was the grilled chicken kabob taco with grilled vegetables. My rice & beans were served room temp, which I wasn’t that fond of.
My fiancé enjoyed his food, but I felt ripped off when the bill came. The quality of food & drinks did not match the price. If we came back I would only get whatever the special is that night.

I LOVE this place, it’s one of my regular spots. It looks like a dive bar on the outside but the inside is nice and the food is great. I usually go on Monday nights because the special is $ 1 tacos from 3 to 9 (spicy chicken and shredded beef only). The fried chicken, shredded beef, and shrimp tacos are my faves. I have yet to find a better shrimp taco than Margarita Grill’s. It’s got bacon and avocado, how could it be bad? I like that they give you multiple types of sauces too. I go for the most mild of the four.
Taylor is a great, friendly bartender. Atmosphere is nice and very chill, and I like the music they play. Great place to go after work to unwind with a cocktail (or two) and a few tacos.

I stopped for a late dinner here after a trip to Homegoods to pick up a new sofa on a Tuesday. This was my first time and the place came recommended by friends.
I loved that they had specials and I ended up ordering the Spicy Tuna Tacos, an order of $ 5.00 chicken nachos, and a top shelf margarita. It was happy hour until 9, so the BF ordered a few beers. I absolutely loved the Tuna Tacos and should have ordered just those! Needless to say the nachos were good as well… I absolutely loved the music selection here. Kinda of a low key vibe. (Sublime, Marley, Slightly Stupid, etc…)
Upon entering, the place is smaller than what I had envisioned. A large bar in the middle of a room and not much else. The bartender was super friendly and made a damn good margarita. I plan on returning soon…

Came in here during a week night and I loved the atmosphere. Slightly dimmed, island music playing in the background, and beachy décor. I didn’t try the food because i had dinner before I went. The boyfriend did try their $ 5 dollar burrito though, he enjoyed it. It also came with 4 different sauces. I’m definitely going to try their tacos next time. If you want a relaxing place to go for some drinks, Come here.

When we first walked in, we thought we had walked into a dive bar and had a hard time convincing each other it was a good idea. But we were sooo hungry for lunch, and Unilocal gave this place 4 out of 5 stars, so we decided to give it a solid chance.
The special (Monday) was a $ 1.00 beef taco. I decided to give that a shot and I’m so happy I did! Legit braised beef on a soft flour tortilla — so good! We also had the Margarita Burrito (awesome!), beef nachos (even the half size is more than enough to share!) two more of the dollar tacos, and a chicken soft taco (get it straight off of the menu, don’t chance anything!). Everything was off the hook! So good!
Normally guacamole anywhere outside of California is like green mayonnaise, but not here! We ordered extra just to eat!
I’m so happy we ended up here! I wish I lived here because I would come back aaaaaall the time!
