Norfolk Florist

Just over 20 years ago I was on holiday leave from the Navy, visiting with my Aunt in Virginia Beach. While exploring the nearby area I found Norfolk Florist, went inside, was pleasantly greeted. I asked about sending flowers by phone (online was not an option then). Given a business card and instructed on placing an order. After returning to my command I sent flowers as a ‘Thank you’ for stay. I still have that business card but online ordering has made the process much easier. Each time my Aunt receives her flowers she takes a picture and sends it to me to let me know how beautiful they are. And, without fail, they often are just as beautiful if not better than the images in their catalog. I can’t think of any one place where I have been a customer this long, but their service and customer care make me think that there is ‘ONLY’ Norfolk Florist. Norfolk Florist has Flower Power!

I have been impressed by Norfolk Florist time and time again until I decided to write a review. Driving home from work I decided to surpise my wife with a «just because» bouquet. So I called them while I was driving around 5:20pm. Susan at sales answered the call and my order was in within 2 minutes. She was very helpful on the phone. By the time I got to their shop at 5:35 they had a gorgeous bouquet ready to go. Joe at the store always puts extra care at making the bouquet and the flowers look more beautiful than on their website. Great service and quality over and over again. Thank you guys!

They changed (shortened) their hours for July 3 – 5 but didn’t have that posted the prior week so I made an unnecessary trip. I tried calling to confirm that the Virginia Beach Blvd. store would have the same (changed) hours the following day and couldn’t get the info from their recording. No luck. That store was closed all day on July 3, 4 & 5. I planned to bring a nice arrangement to a party. Guess it won’t be possible.

I order a corsage for my son (girlfriend) prom date. I order on line, for the next day. It was right on time. The color I asked for was perfect! I think it was a little too pricey. But we where happy with it :)

I’ve lived in Dallas for 20 years and I’ve been sending flowers to my mom, sister and dad in Norfolk through Norfolk Florist all 20 years. They have always sent beautiful flowers. I’ve never been disappointed with them and I use their services at least three or four times a year. Norfolk Florist really makes a gorgeous, long-​lasting bouquet. I feel like they’ve helped me keep connected to my extended family so far away. I recommend them without reservation!

I cannot thank Robin enough. She saved me the day before my baby showers. I needed three «Thank You» arrangements for my hostesses. I found a photo of an arrangement online & emailed it to Robin. She told me they could create this customized bouquet for me & it turned out better than the photo! They even thought of the tiny details, they weighed the vase down with smooth stones — it looked elegant & made transportation easier. Robin was kind enough to deliver the order to my house later that day. What service! Robin was very responsive via email, making the ordering process extremely easy & stress free. Her level of customer service & attention to detail astonished me. I will be using Norfolk Florist again! Thank you Robin!

My Wife and I have used Norfolk Florists for several years now, and we are beyond satisfied with every purchase we have made. They have a great selection, the flowers/​gifts are always delivered on time, and their prices are more than fair. We would recommend using Norfolk Florists for your Flower needs.

The service is excellent! My girlfriend raves about how fresh the flowers are and how long they stay fresh looking and alive! The roses lasted for over 3 weeks! I would definitely rank them above any florist I have used in the past!

WOW! I have ordered flowers by ‘phone before, but have never been treated as graciously and competently! John was amazing!!! I can’t wait for my sister and her husband to get their flowers welcoming them to their new home!

Plans A, B, and C for Mother’s Day fell apart in rapid and ugly succession. When all else fails, there is always flowers. And when in Norfolk and you absolutely NEED anything floral, Norfolk Florists should be your first stop and at the top of your ‘go to’ list.
Even though it was the day before a major holiday and the store was busy, the service was the usual personal and friendly. After a few moments of what to the world probably looked like ponderous and deep thought (but was really utter confusion), I chose a nice butterfly/​basket arrangement with a big sunflower right in the middle and placed the order while checking in on Unilocal.Hey, great, an instant discount for checking in!!!
The lady behind the desk retrieved a fresh arrangement for me and I was on my way. All told, Mother’s Day shopping was less than 10 minutes (after A, B, and C)…
If you need things that grow out of the ground and are NOT weeds, this is the place to go.

Flowers were beautiful. Service was fast and professional. I’ll use them for every special occasion.

Living here in Los Angeles, I find I pretty much use Unilocal for everything, which I also stated on a previous review. Seems Unilocal is very slowly catching on elsewhere throughout the country. But none the less I decided to find a florist near my nieces home in Norfolk using Unilocal.Although there was only one review, it was a 5 star, which got my vote.
I had originally called and thought of sending a potho’s plant to my niece, since I have had such good luck with this plant myself. But after speaking with Sue at Norfolk Florist she recommended the butterfly basket, which had a variety of plants with some daisy’s thrown in. This way later on, if my niece wanted too, she could separate them into different plants as they grew. Sounded like a winner to me!
My brother let me know the following day that the basket had arrived, and took a a photo for me to see. My niece thought it was beautiful and so did I.
