Ny Sal’s Pizza

Ordered take out, came over an hour later. Dropped off the food. Ordered a pink lemonade, got a regular lemonade. It isn’t a big deal. But it isn’t what I ordered. I got a pineapple Stromboli & the Stromboli wasn’t cooked, & inside of it the pineapple were still connected as rings. Garbage. The fries I ordered were soggy. Never plan to order from here again, :/

The prices are decent but the food and service are not. I had a coupon for pizza, knots and a 2 liter. The pizza is under cooked and doughy. The knots are burned. The only 2 liters they had left were orange soda and ice tea. The pizza sauce that came with the knots was super watery.

Honestly, im going to miss this place when i move away.
The wings are actually delicious for a non-​chicken place. The pizza is my favorite in the area.
Ive also had nothing but good interactions with them. Its on the way home from work and they knew my roomate & i by name and typically knew our base order. Theyre pretty flexible with their specials.
The pizza is greasy & thin & flavorful. Its not like papa johns or dominoes but they specify new york style. The salads are bug enough to really share between three-​four people if you want it as a side. I think we also got their garlic knots (i could probably pass on those… i like them super soft & they make theirs kind of harder/​crunchy). Good flavor though!

Very poor customer service. The guy who picked up the phone is was very rude for no reason. Even if you’re busy, that’s no way to talk to customers. They will not be getting a return visit from me and I will make sure to let everyone I know not to come here. Food is very bland and flavorless as well, don’t waste your money or time.

Tried this place a few times now and it is pretty good. My particular favorite is their white broccoli pizza. Very good, especially when they have the dollops of ricotta all around. Their regular pizzas have all been pretty good except for one ‘off’ order that was so so. The staff is always pretty cool as well. All in all good place, but they need to work on consistency just a bit more.
If you’re in the area, it’s worth it to at least give them
a shot and see if you like them yourself.

I didn’t want to edit my original review as I want to show how a bad experience can change the perception of a business rather quickly. I recently placed and order and the order had taken a while to come, I called about 45 minutes in just to make sure they didn’t have the wrong address or anything like that and the guy on the line gave me tons of attitude. I wasn’t rude, I wasn’t angry, he just went on a rant about how he was busy and told me that I could just pick it up if I wanted it sooner which was out of line imo. He really laid into me.
I received my order a bit later with it taking a total of an hour and a half to reach me. Please note I live about five minutes away. When I opened it, the food was just awful, veggies were too raw and there was little flavor and WAY too much cheese. All in all, it was pretty bland.
I HATE giving a place bad reviews, this is why I don’t leave a review unless I’ve eaten somewhere 3 – 4 times. I understand that these are people’s livelihood, but businesses need to remember that they need to treat their customers right. As you can see from my original review, I originally enjoyed the place and up until now I’ve never had to deal with the rude gentleman, but apparently others have dealt with him judging from the other reviews. Because of this and the meal from that night, I will probably never eat here again.

I went here today for lunch with a friend, and we were very pleased! I had a pepperoni and sausage calzone, and my friend had 2 slices of pizza… one cheese and one pepperoni. We also shared some garlic knots. Everything tasted great. My calzone tasted light and airy, and I didn’t have that heavy, bloated feeling after eating it. The garlic knots were buttery, and covered in fresh garlic and parmesan. Will definitely be back soon!

My new go-​to pizza place. Their Pizza is good but the calzones are where it’s at. Easily the best I’ve had. The staff is friendly and the wait time for pickup is usually between 15 – 20 min. Definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys NY style pizza.

Second time visiting this location. First time the pizza was good. Today it was just terrible. Barely any cheese, it was cold, and it tasted terrible. I hate to give such bad review but it was tonight it was probably the worst pizza I’ve had. We were quite disappointed because we were really wanting to make this our new pizza to go place since it’s so close to home. After tonight though we will probably not try it again. It was that bad. I gave it 1 star because the staff is friendly. Maybe it was just and off day for the cook. :(

I’m from PA and pizza is huge in my area and definitely hard to compare to! I’ve tried a few places since I moved down here and this is one of the places I like. There pizza is good and there pretty huge slices as well. The wings are okay, ask for extra sauce though, they are better then most I have tried down here, again wings in my hometown in pa are AMAZING so I’m pretty picky.
