It was clean, but the food was not that good at all. Really cheap. So you get what you paid for.

Parlays is the type of place that you bring a date that you’ve already slept with and don’t care what they think of your favorite watering hole. The drinks are strong, the karaōke terrible(in the best way), and the people watching is incredible. The chicken tenders when drunk are amazing. I’m sure they are pretty good when sober too, but who’s ever been to parlays sober?

By far my favorite bar on shore dr. Plus the karaōke is always fun. The atmosphere is great and the drink prices are very very affordable. The food is amazing and I highly recommend their chicken tacos.

Review is based on experience here for early evening drinks only. Bar staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a replacement for the reef or wanting a divey-ish bar experience(and I mean that in the most flattering way, I love dive bars) versus a restaurant. Divey in a good affordable and approachable way, but not in a dirty way. Could see this place being fun and amusing for people watching on a weekend night once the karaōke gets fired up. Great happy hour specials and a bunch of flat screens to watch games. Will def be back to check it out later in the evening.

We love doing Karaōke and the KJ they have there on Saturday nights is amazing so we decided to go last night. I myself had been there a time before and had a great time. I’d also like to note the only reason I gave Parlay’s a try is because my close friends spoke so highly of this establishment and said we should see for ourselves so its clear word of mouth definitely contributes to their business. Last night was my second visit & I received the WORST customer service in my life! My girlfriend went to the bar to order us drinks, Heather, who claimed to be the owner, was tending the bar while trying to keep up with her Facebook via her cellphone all at the same time. I stood and watched my girlfriend try to get her attention but she was so engrossed in what was going on in her phone that she neglected to see a group of people had formed waiting to be served. My girlfriend kept saying«excuse me, excuse me» several times to no avail. My girlfriend then raised her voice in an effort to get Heather’s’ attention & of course this is what took Heather out of her Facebook coma. Heather instantly became annoyed since this probably startled her and yelled that what my girlfriend did was rude and that she would not serve her. My girlfriend instantly apologized as it was NEVER her intention to make Heather upset, she just wanted to get her attention so she could order a drink. Heather stated someone else could serve her but then the other bartender quickly followed suit and refused to serve my girlfriend as well. In an effort to deescalate the situation since this all appeared to be a simple misunderstanding, I asked to speak with the manager who just so happened to be Heather. I was very level when talking & explained to her that we were only there to patron the bar and spend our money and that my girlfriend was not trying to be rude rather that she was trying to get her attention. Heather was very irrational and refused to listen to any kind of reason. I work in the medical profession and I realized Heather was exhibiting traits of someone who was not emotionally stable which helped me be even more patient and calm with her but none of this worked. She seemed to be adamant that my girlfriend and the other group that formed were only standing there for«like 10 seconds.» She stated she was on the phone with the owner so I asked her if I could speak with the owner, she stated she was the owner. So I said«But you said you’re on the phone with the owner» she says«Yes, he left this place to me, I run it, I’m the owner.» So I then asked her how she was the owner but there was someone else who was the owner and she replied after appearing to have been caught off guard, «Quite frankly ma’am, that’s none of your business.» The story goes on but you get the just of the matter. Poor, poor service. GETRIDOFHEATHER!!! The employees we spoke with as we were leaving said she ALWAYS gets complaints. My girlfriend and I love to support local businesses. We would have brought ATLEAST6 drinks that night… money lost. To top it off we had two other friends meet us there that Heather knows since they are regulars & they ended up leaving as well… more money lost. If you want to ensure your business remains successful, GETRIDOFHEATHER! She is not helping business, rather destroying it.
