Scheduled my move for 12÷13÷14 with Paul Parten– scheduling and price quote went good and professional On 12÷12÷14 about 7 or 8pm received a phone to reschedule my move to 12÷14÷14 because another move took longer than excepted and the movers would return to Hampton Roads late and would be too tired for my move the next day. I was credited $ 100 for inconvenience. On 12÷14÷14, 2 movers arrived on time. It proceeded as scheduled; however, movers were slower than excepted. That is mostly because one mover was doing all of the work. The movers later stated that they thought I had 1 storage unit and not 2 storage units. They also indicated that normally a job like that would have been scheduled with 3 movers and a bigger truck. While unloading at my home, one mover who identified his self as the owners son stated he would not tell the office about the last hour if we would take care of them since it was a Sunday. That seemed odd but ok. The move ended and I had to pay an extra $ 98 because the movers indeed had to report my time to the office manager. Mind you this is an extra $ 98 after my $ 100 credit has been used. Night of 12÷14÷14, I noticed the front door alarm sensor had come off so I contacted the office via email but received an undeliverable response. On Monday 12÷15÷14, I contacted the office and left a message with Bruce wanting to know if the movers knew anything or had seen it fall. On Tuesday 12÷16÷14, I called the office again to check on the status and left another message. On Wednesday, 12/17/2014 I faxed a letter just asking to be contacted no later than Friday, 12÷19÷14. Of course I have heard nothing from them. All I wanted to know if Aaron and Marcus saw the sensor; I did not call the office demanding payment. This mishap has cost me $ 129 to be fixed. I would think the company would have enough good customer service to say nobody saw anything and we are not liable. I cannot believe I never received a call back but movers had no problem asking for under the table money and tips. Plus they had no problem rescheduling my move and saying they picked me because I was the only one who answered their phone. At the end of the move, I would have used them again and just asked for different movers but now NO way. My biggest problem is the after service customer service and the 1 begging slow mover. Forgive my bad punctuation and etc. I was on role while writing this.

The guys that did the move were great. The rest of the experience was horrible. For starters, I was given a start time of between 1 – 4 on Friday. The crew never showed up! At 4:20 after no show and no call, I called them only to be told that they would be there at 5:45 at the earliest. I rescheduled them to be the first stop the next morning again(9AM). The crew was late because they were given the wrong address. Didn’t show until 10AM. The company did nothing about it after all was said and done charged me $ 55 for going 30 minutes over! I WOULDNEVERRECOMMENDTHEM!
